This is the cartridge I've been waiting for and this example is enough proof for me. I don't plan on loading anything else in my self defense weapons.

They do not make this in 45 acp.

But for those with 9mm, this may be a very good carry ammo.

I ordered 9mm and 9mm +P from Midway USA. They had .40 S&W available also.

I've had Critical Duty loaded in my 40 and Critical Defense in my LCP for a while now. Really like that ammo and have total confidence in it!

Been carrying Hornady in all my CC for quite awhile. The Critical Defense is probably the one I will stick with. I don't see the need to switch to the Critical Duty.

I have both, the Critical duty plus P for my 9mm and the critical defense rounds however I load the critical defense rounds for my daily carry because I don't want to over penetrate my target if I for some reason, heaven forbid, have to shoot someone. The critical defense rounds perform remarkably well for this purpose. I load the plus P duty rounds for hiking and camping for better protection from four legged fiends.

According to their website it's just 9mm, 9mm+P, and .40 S&W at this time.
