Does anyone/ has anyone used 2'' shotgun shells?

I have never used 2'' shells only 3'' shells. Do they work ok? I was thinking about getting some 2'' shells so i would be able to load 9 rounds in the shotgun over the 5+1 with 3'' shells. But as i have never used them wanted to know if they are even worth it? Also has anyone used a round that has one 65'' ball and six buckshot balls in it? It claims to be the best of both worlds ( slugs and buckshot).

If your gun requires 2 3/4 or 3 in dont use stuubies...They jam in some remmingtons and most mossbergs

I have tried those in my 870 express and they seem to work pretty well. I like having the extra rounds that the small shells provide. I have no doubt they would be devastating to an intruder. Have only tried the slug versions though. Recoil is reduced from the standard size 12ga slug but that is to be expected. No information on the box about the slug size or velocity but they go bang just as loud as their big brother does.

The brand is called "Centurion", and I have shot some really amazing pattern with them. Even better are the "item" shoots that I have done.

Super cool and super pricey, but so much fun! My home defense shotgun round of choice.

LOL yup that's the round i was talking about. I found a site that has them for 14 dollars for a box of ten. :biggrin:
