Very misleading intro into this segment and I fell for it, wasted four minutes and 25 point raise in blood pressure.
Are you kidding me aren't you? You are being sarcastic aren't you? Are you a troll--someone who is wasting space on this forum with a meaningless video that has nothing to do with gun control but is a treatise on gun safety, which is very different than what the term gun control is all about.

Been shooting all his life and still uses gloves to shoot? Looks like some heavy duty gardening gloves at that. Looks like this guy lacks everything BUT common sense!
I think since all these liberals are making these videos posing as pro-gunners and making us out to be idiots, we should start making stupid anti-gun videos and make them out to be idiots. Ok sorry...make them out to be BIGGER idiots. Ok nevermind I doubt we could master it any better than they already have...

I think the OP video makes a joke out of a serious subject that threatens all of our rights, and am not impressed with it in the least. However, the person in the video is the same person who posted it here, Amsdorf. I've been here a long time and only ever had one exchange with him. That exchange was enlightening for me, but I saw no evidence that it was for Amsdorf. That's cool though. To each his own.
Anyway, on this video, the gloves are of the tactical variety, probably Blackhawk or 5.11 or equivalent thereof. Definitely not garden gloves. They're worn by cops and soldiers every single day, and are common to see at the range I frequent.
The guy's videos show that he either owns or has access to a large collection of some pretty awesome weaponry. I think it's safe to assume that there was no anti-gun intentions in the making of this video, or any other that he's made.
That said, I also think he takes fairly insignificant things too seriously (as shown in the linked thread) and doesn't take the unambiguous wording of the 2nd Amendment seriously enough (also on display in the same thread). I could be wrong. Things said on the internet are misunderstood all the time. Just giving my impressions, not any hard and fast conclusions. However, I do believe that it's a valid conclusion to make that he's not at all what you have concluded him to be from a tongue-in-cheek video he made.

I live in Montana and have never used gloves when I shoot. That revelation is neither here nor there; depends. I guess, on what one is accustomed to and what one prefers.

I find gloves helpful on those outdoor ranges in the cold of winter up my way.

I wear mechanics gloves with the pointer & thumb cut off about half way. I found that gloves are very helpful when engaging in either very hot, or very cold weather. Also, they save my hands from getting f'd up when training the way I train. I'm an AK guy... they have rough edges. I also get sweaty hands a lot... weird.
