Having been retired from the millitary since 1994 I will throw in my 2 cents. Service people like to drink the young ones most of all. We all know guns and beer are a recipe for disaster.
I recall times when we still had beer machines in the barricks there were alot of guys that would not know when to stop and things got out of hand. They have removed the machines because the troops could not behave and would destroy walls windows etc.
However here at the JRB base in Fort Worth you can buy weapons at the exchange. Once you buy the you must call security and leave the base. You must tell what you have and what you are driving. I bought a couple of pistols and security sure as hell were right on my tail till I got off base.
You need to buy and get off base ASAP no stoppng to do anything else.
