What Do You Carry?

I carry the Kel-Tec P3AT with CT laser in my front pocket, but sometimes I carry my S& W 38 chief's special. I do so love that little sweetie.:girl_wink:

Glock 27, thinking of going to the Glock 30. They are a little small for my Ape hands, but conceal great. I just picked up a brand new Sig P229 and love it, but it doesn't carry as well to me. Maybe I just need the right holster.

Comp-Tac MTAC. It holds my 229 very close and conceals very well in all but a T-shirt. It is very comfortable and also has interchangeable composite housings for diff guns. I have a housing for my G27 as well and it only takes a few minutes to install. Definitely worth a look.

My biggest problem is all I wear is shorts and t- shirts for most of the year. I hate to get rid of my new Sig, but if I can't hide it good, there is no use for it.

Try a Smart Carry holster. Some people don't like them, but they can hide a gun when you're wearing just a t-shirt.

What do I carry?

I carry a Taurus 38 Special that weights only 17 ounces when I am at home and switch to my Glock 30 whenever I leave the house. I load my own, and use Gold Dot 135 gr HP and 158 gr Lead SWC in the 38 and in the Glock I use Gold Dot 230 gr HP and Hornady 230 gr FMJ-FP. Any one of these loads from either gun will just ruin a perfectly good day.:pleasantry:

Carry

I carry a PT24/7 pro compact .45 daily. If the cloths are tighter where it will be harder to hide I carry a p3at. I used to carry my Ruger P89 but way to hard to hide.

What do I carry

For the last year I alternate depending on what time of the year it is. In the summer when it is shorts and T-shirt time, I carry a Springfield Armory EMP .40 1911. One fine pistol, after you get used to the short sight radius. Then all winter I carry a Dan Wesson Bobtail Commander size .45. Both of them are carried in a John O'Rourke custom pancake holster.

I trade off my Dan Wesson with a Smith & Wesson PD1911, Commander size .45. This fine 1911 is made of Scandium, very light and easy to carry and shoot. Accuracy is right on and no problems with malfunctions after 2000 rounds:no:.

XD40 with 11 shots of Fiocchi JHP 180gr - service model in a Blackhawk Sportster SERPA OWB paddle holster... soon to be in a crossbreed supertuck. I thought I would have trouble concealing this big ol' gun, but with a button down shirt, it's easy. Polos are trickier though.

I carry a Beretta PX4 Storm 40. Does anybody carry the Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm Sub-Compact and how do you like it? I'm considering getting one.

2 Taurus PT-145s
1 in IWB holster on left hip and 1 in IWB holster in small of the back.
Plus 2 spare magazines
All loaded with personally handloaded 180gr. JHP.

I just picked up a CZ 40 B (would have preferred a DOA) but I took what I could get. I been carrying 1911 for almost 20 years and just never cared for the feel of any of the DA/SA pistols out there (own several). As intended, the grip does feel just like the 1911 and it shot great right out of the box. Well I have read about the pistol on the "net" and read some old articles but haven't heard from anyone that actually owned one or has long term experience with one. Can anyone help out in this area ? Anything would be appreciated.

Para-Ord Warthog

I carry a para-ord warthog in 45 acp. 3" barrel with 2-15 rd. mags. Never had any probs with it. Plus I also carry an springfield mil-spec gov. 45. very reliable gun. Fires flawlessly. Have a custom made boomstick holster for the hog plus a crossbreed holster that I just got for it not to long ago and a safariland holster for the gov.
