And therein lies your problem and your similarity between you and the groups like Moms Not Getting Enough Action... you have to view everything to the extreme. I say that I see no reason to prohibit a user of marijuana from merely possessing a firearm and you turn it into handing drugs and alcohol out to children. In this thread I have not posted a single word about individual freedoms or rights, but you can't resist getting on that horse. The only challenge I have issued, which remains completely unanswered, is show me where in reality the general public in a state such as Washington that has no laws regarding possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol or marijuana has been in any more danger than the general public in a state such as Colorado where such a prohibition already exists.

and you wonder why I am more afraid of police carrying guns than stoners? At least stoners have a high probability (no pun intended) of drug induced hesitation before shooting where "highly trained" police officers are "highly trained" to not hesitate.

No, but we should talk about disarming police equally as much as we talk about disarming Joe Citizen. I would say the percentage of police officers who pose a threat to public safety due to their possession of firearms is the same as the percentage of Joe Citizens who do.

I didn't reply to the rest of your idiotic rant because I have no idea how to address pure stupidity. You hate cops, hate religion, along with the Judeo Christian principals this nation was founded on. But love and adore the concept of legalized dope, people marrying their dogs, cats, h0m0 lovers, along with most things abnormal. All because you think it gives you some ill conceived notion of "freedom", because now there are laws now in place that say you can't. Laws and the police who enforce them get in the way of a world you would like to see F#*KED up to suit you. You cherry pick incidents involving police trying to make them look incompetent. Nothing Darren Wilson did showed any incompetence what so ever. A Grand Jury agreed, and as a direct result, refused to indict him. Ditto for the Eric Garner case. You don't like that. You want to see cops hang.
So right away things have to change to suit your pathetic mind, along with how you think. That's not how things work. We have had a judicial system in place that has worked better than anywhere else in the world for the last 239 years. But it's not good enough for you, because you happen to think the results should be different. Too bad. The facts of our society is we have laws against marijuana that you don't like or agree with. They are still there at the Federal, and at many state levels. Deal with it.
We currently have over 1,100,000 law enforcement officers in this country at city, state, and federal levels. Most all of them do a pretty damn good job considering what they are up against every day. Yet your argument for change is so weak and stupid, you think irresponsible dope addicts with guns don't pose a threat to your safety, but in some idiotic, convoluted way cops do. Your a fool, pure and simple. The only argument you've got is there seems to be more of you every day.

There are thousands of DOCUMENTED CASES where cops have shot innocents, KILLED those who did NOTHING ILLEGAL AT ALL, yet anyone with even half a brain could figure out that "pot smokers" outnumber cops probably 100 to 1...... Yet, I have yet to see ANY news/cases of a "stoner" killing anyone at all........
Another thing... you have yet to answer ANY of the relevant questions that you have been asked to answer on multiple occasions.... are you ignoring them because you KNOW that you have no evidence or valid answers, and that to answer them, it would prove your argument false?

Again, your entire "argument" is based on total stupidity. What's your solution? What? Disarm the police? Do away with them all together? All your doing is b!tching and moaning that police make mistakes. They do. They're human, and much like soldiers, do as they are trained to do. Would you like to see the Army done away with because of a few friendly fire incidents? Why not? It happens in every single war we've ever fought. Arlington is full of graves that we managed to put there by our own hands. They, (cops & soldiers), are not like a computer running a program. They are faced with a more violent public and enemies every day. Many times they are forced by superiors to do nothing at all. Ferguson the night after the verdict was your best and most recent example of that. Is that better? You would probably say yes. Would you if it was your business you and your family worked a lifetime to build? Would you rebuild it again if the cops continue to do nothing in that FUC*#D up, violent racial climate because they might do the wrong thing?
You're looking at one side of this because you hate the police, pure and simple. We as a society are getting more violent every day. Riots have existed for decades. I lived in Chicago in 1968 during the Democratic National Convention. Many of my friends went to Grant Park that night. I told them they were stupid to go. The climate for violence was way too high. They went, and I stayed home. Many ended up either arrested, or else in the hospital because the cops beat the $h!t out of them. Was that right? Of course not, but they injected themselves into a dangerous situation that turned violent. They were telling everyone to stay home. I did, they didn't.
Look at Kent State 2 years later. Should the National Guard have shot 4 kids for protesting? Of course not. But they did. Like many, I was a student back then. I never went to one single protest. Not because I didn't believe or agree with what they were doing, but because I don't like putting myself in situations where I could, or might get hurt. It's just plain stupid.
People today are more arrogant. Cops are becoming more aggressive to that arrogance. Need proof? Look at the latest protest in New York. Hundreds of people yelling: "WHAT DO WE WANT.....DEAD COPS!!..WHEN DO WE WANT IT.....NOW!! Just how the hell do you expect cops to react to that type of threat? They are going to be more trigger happy than ever, and I don't blame them one bit. Especially after 2 of them were ASSASSINATED as they did nothing more than sit in their patrol car. I don't hear you b!tching about that. Why not? It's because in your own stupid, convoluted way, YOU AGREE WITH IT. People who think like you are stupid and one sided. Your "argument" is never going to go anywhere, because you only want to see one side of it. All you and your type do is escalate things to the point when something does happen, it's usually something that makes the entire situation worse, not better. Police are far from perfect. You think they should be. They never will be any more than you are at doing your job...... Assuming you have one.
