Although we are pretty cold and snowy here in the UP of Michigan, our CCW is welcomed in most states except the usual's. Illinois is still a hiccup in the surrounding areas but people are working on it.
 
It's great to hear of successful escapes. Mass is talking more gun regulations again. We have a tiny selection of Ma compliant guns we can purchase. I live on the NH border (1 mile from NH) the gun stores near me have "NH only" gun cases. I get to look at all the guns available to NH purchasers but I can't even think of buying one.
Freedom isn't free and certainly not available in Ma.

Hello from OH. Just got my permit yesterday. Been a shooter & casual hunter all my life, but things have been getting sketchy around my rural home so I have decided to carry. I have a small collection of firearms, some I inherited and some I have bought. I have a Sig P224 9MM SA/DA on order and that will be my primary carry pistol. I shoot several other full size Sigs and like how the 224 employs the same basic controls in a small package.

I am mostly a motorcycle guy and have spent my entire life working in the motorcycle industry.
 
Hey Y'all from SC..Just got my cwp denial for a bs misdemeanor charge almost 18 years ago. I was confined in the rear if a coupe during a LE chase. Didn't know the guy was DUS..OR that he had drugs on him. They took him, my fiancee, and me to jail. They were just simply trying to intimidate us into testifying against him.. the charges were nolle prossed..
I called SLED, and they told me to get a copy of the disposition, and to fax it in with my appeal. Being stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time has come back to haunt me. I am a veteran and I am also an emergency medical technician. It befuddled me that I even got a denial.

Hello from beautiful Upstate New York. I'm sure many of you have heard of Governor Cuomo's SAFE Act and its infringement on our 2A rights. There is strong opposition to this legislation in Upstate with "Do Not Comply" signs displayed on many lawns. Don't believe what you see in the media-the pro-2A rallys that I've attended have had huge turnouts. The constitutionality of this legislation is being argued in the courts and there have already been some small victories. We will not give up and we won't go quietly. Keep the faith, fellow New Yorkers!

Good afternoon from North Carolina!! I've just found this forum while snowbound and suffering from Cabin Fever. I have been a CCL holder for about 8 years. I recently purchased an LC 9 for my wife and she is currently waiting for a call from the sheriff's office to say her permit is ready for pickup. We shoot regularly and I reload .380 and 9mm. I look forward to participating in the forum.

Just stoppin by to introduce myself. I'm in southern New Mexico been carrying for almost 2 yrs thankfully without incident. I've looked at this site for a while when I travel and finally became a member.

Unpredictable...in my state at least. We get temperatures of 45 (115F) and above in the summer and down to -2 (28F) in the winter. One minute it's nice and sunny, the next it's pouring rain. In general it's nice though, I'm probably in the worst state weather-wise.

At the moment it's at 14C (58F). Very nice.
 
Hello - Lisa here from California. I carry @ home & on our ranch - and sometimes when I'm out and about. I never know when I'm going to need "Lisa's Little Helper" with a wild critter or ????
 
hi all.

new here im afraid...

i dont own any gas rifles, just a couple of gas shotguns, and a gbb pistol (china clone m500, maruzen m1100 with redwolf upgrades, and a TM sig P226 with metal kit)

not much to say, ive been airsofting for about a year and a half, started out withan electric sewing machine classic army M4, but am heavily into sniping now...

i joined here after reading up on the WE M4, and lately the GHK AK, and fancy them both. unfortunately, saving for a house may mean obtaining one takes a while! im also always looking for tips on how to make my m1100 run more smoothly...!

im also active on arnies airsoft under the same name, and a local airsoft forum too.

im 29, and live in the north of england.

New to this.

Hey, from South Texas spend most of my time hunting, shooting and fishing. I am an avid collector of fine firearms and some not so fine. Found this by browsing the net. I carry 5 days a week for work and 7 days for myself.
