Arkansas SWAT kills a 107 year old man

I will tell you why because police shooting at their target and hitting or missing it the bullets still travel meaning bystanders can be hit by them. You all were in a tizzy about the 107 year old mans bullets hitting bystanders but don't give a damn about the police and swat team bullets hitting a bystander. I will say if I had to get hit by a bullet I would want it to be the 107 year old man so that I could sue cause we all know the police and swat can shoot and kill people with immunity.

First off cops aren't immune if they have an errant round hit someone other than their target. Huge civil liability. 2nd, the cops have a duty to act. So in their roles of engaging a bg w a gun, there is inherent risk of stray bullets and that's why they will shut roads off and evac neighboring houses to get innocent lives out from the red zone. In a crowded street or store that opportunity isn't there when shtf. Lastly, if you're so concerned of stray rounds hitting people or going through houses and hitting people, you probably shouldn't carry a firearm and not keep one in the home either. Because not unlike a cop engaging a bg and having to use deadly force, you may have to as well and risk a round hitting a soft target in the background that wasn't immediately known to you during your life or death encounter. Gun safety 101 teaches us the basics in not shooting ourselves or someone else by accident, but when the Reaper is standing next to you, sometimes all your focus should be is front sight and trigger pull.

Leaving aside the "local nature" of this incident, your comment is right on IMO. Look who is ultimately in charge (if you call being at the whitehouse between golf dates). A moslem socialist sociopath. Sociopath you say? He has a narcissistic personality and clearly believes that his acts and words exist at a level of grandiosity and deserves the love and admiration of others. He is obsessed with his own sense of entitlement and believes himself to be special and god-like. Sure sounds like someone I am frightened of.
You said it "Kermit" I did not. As I have stated before, YES they had every right to take the old man out. I happen to not agree w/ their decision, I think it could have been handled
differently.
The results would have been the same the brothers in blue would have went home "alive" to their families, the only difference, the old man would have been alive as well.
Unfortunately it didn't go down that way, and by the way it would not have mattered if the shooter was 17 or 107, so don't think for a second this influenced my mind set.
This is how i see it, however, no one will ever know the thoughts of this team under circumstances where the adrenalin is pumping as only those who have been there can
ever begin to understand, it's surreal but different, I guess there are no words that can explain it.
So with this said can we now give it a rest and thank God the good guys were not harmed and let the "DEAD" rest .
I would but the people you are referring to are not good guys based on their actions.

I never once said it wasn't possible for a cop to accidentally shoot a bystander. The difference is the that the cops only fired on target, whereas the old man was spraying bullets randomly through doors. You make it sound like the cops sat outside with a turret mounted machine gun and tried to cut the house in half. Give me a break.
they won't have to take guns from 999,999 out of a million. All that they will have to do to take all of them from 90% of people is pass the law, and really start enforcing it and offering rewards to people who turn in gunowners. The sheeple will stand in line all night and the next day to turn in all their guns. 1 guy in 10 might bury one gun someplace, but he won't do anything with it. If he was the type to do anything, he wouldn't bury his gun(s) He'd use it/them to kill a few dozen of the tyrant's thugs, skipping around the country, at their HQ's, where they are easy to find.
