Gun Control: a solution forever in search of a problem.
Don't bet on it. One of the proposals makes the original owner responsible for any illegal acts committed by subsequent owners. It is unbelievable what the legislators in NJ are doing to its citizens.

apparently, their thinking is kind of crazy! they have some of the most densely populated places in the US and they won't let people use HP rounds! in their minds HP rounds are "dum-dum" bullets designed to kill cops, quite absurd but well entrenched! I had access to some very well placed people in my time and the gun issue was one that could not be fixed. Like I said, NJ is a lost cause.

it appears to me that you are from way north of I 10, keep in mind I 95 has north bound lanes as well as the s/b ones

And even further north of I-75/I-595. Which so far has served as a barrier to NHL hockey teams. :biggrin:

He must be talking about the LA Kings. I-10 ends in Santa Monica and I think the Staples Center is a couple of blocks south of it there.

I moved to N.J. in 1971 and escaped in 1989 back to Iowa and my 240 acre farm. It is still a free state with a tradition of hunting and gun ownership.
It isn't just the government but the attitude of the people that is the problem in NJ. In such a densely populated state many have forgotten what independence and individual liberty is. The state is hopeless and leaving is is the best bet for a future. In event of an economic collapse or other crisis survival in NJ would very quickly become a an extremely desperate situation. With over 900 people per square mile all the necessities of life would quickly be depleted and then law of the jungle would replace the very thin veneer of civilization.

It's hard to believe that lawmakers appear to have the same size gray matter as the common fruit fly.

Be careful when you over generalize.
The reason they retire in the south is because the older you get the greater your chances of becoming a victim. In the south retirees live longer because they can defend their lives with a firearm and a bullet. In the north they need to wait for a fingerprint report to return clean. Anywhere north of Virginia is the danger zone and you flks up there need to carefully consider what is happening to you. Christie, Cuomo, Patrick, their families, and the other idiots running your states (even Bloomberg) never ever ever ever travel without protection (nah...I don't mean the condoms they have to pull over their heads) but you pathetic little expendables had better travel without protection. You and your family have no value to these people. You need to get out of those hell holes and let those retarded governments wither on the vine. If ya'll can do it en masse I bet there are more than a few people that will take you in. In mere months your states will crumble like a stale pie.
Hey Andrew: Absolutely great statement--sums it up in a nutshell. Bottom line though is the current government that is hellbent on "changing" this country to a socialist dictatorship, needs to eliminate the firearms in possession of the populace. They already have started the complete emasculation of the armed forces and, in particular, the Marines, who probably have the highest moral code for this country as it has always existed. Trouble is with untold millions of people with untold millions of firearms they will never really succeed but they sure can try. The ignorant and stupid "sheep" who put this narcissistic, moslem piece of garbage in the whitehouse don't even know how to walk across the street without government assistance and they actually believe this gun control crap--so it will continue to surface as long as we keep going down this path with these democrat socialist piles of dung. Personally--I am not a sheep. I will not follow the path of my fellow Jews in Germany in the 30's who sheepishly allowed themselves to first become unarmed and then were herded to their deaths. When you realize that in the Warsaw Ghetto, several hundred Jews with guns were able to withstand thousands of gestapo for several weeks---you know this government can be stopped and eliminated if we want it badly enough. I-10 ends in Jacksonville according to those in CA. But we in Florida know it is as you said. We have the lowest Interstate number for the East-West roads. :wink: BB&T Center is many, many miles south of I-10.He must be talking about the LA Kings.
