That does seem a bit high. The mags that came with my M9A1 are 50.00 a piece. I settled for standard mags for extras.

I don't know what they look at for "Day 0" that starts the clock. I know I took my class 2/16 (Sat.), mailed it the following Saturday. Check cleared the bank 3/5. So depending on when the figure things, May 5 would be roughly two months.....mine still says, "unable to find information". So, guess I'm still somewhere in the pile....maybe if we take them food......? hahaha

Thanks, I'm trying to get a feel for how long permits are taking in AR. I know they all won't be the same, but get an average.

Hey everyone! I took my class on March 2nd and mailed in my documents on March 4th. They received them I believe on March 6th. I have seen this message for the past six weeks.

The only two things I am concerned about is I did the application on line and then didn't complete it because I had not done my class yet. After I spoke with my instructor, I redid the application, so if I use my name, bday, and dl number, it says there is more than one application... so I always use my confirmation number. Do you think that will cause it to slow down at all? Also, I am on disability, could this cause a problem? Though my doctor said that I was okay to get chcl.

I had done the same thing. Just use your confirmation number to check your status.

Does it actually say "unable to find records/information" or does it read like Amie's in post #66. If it doesn't read as that one does, I would be curious as to what is going on.

Yes I have been using my confirmation number, that is why I put what it says when I use my confirmation number ( referring to post 66)
Don't despair, it was well over 6 weeks before they acknowledged receiving my certificate and fingerprints. Once they process them your message will change to pending background check.
I'm at 3 months now since I applied so don't get in a big hurry, they sure aren't.

Yes, I know. It will be six weeks tomorrow since they received my things. This is worse than Christmas.. LOL. I guess my main concern was that I might get denied due to my disability OR because I accidently started a different application.

This is still what I am seeing. "We are unable to retrieve your application using the information provided. Please retry using your confirmation number or contact ASP directly."
SO, I just sit and wait. I KNOW they have my stuff cause they cashed the check. haha
I am sure what people are speaking of when they mention certificate. When you complete a course, you get a little certificate saying you completed the course (suitable for framing) but it is NOT part of the official documentation to be sent to ASP. I have verified this.
