Mine came in right around the 35 day mark. The part that kills ya is the site changes to approved pending printing and sits there a few days then goes to Issued and then you start checking the mail even after the mailman has already been there for the day.
Freaked me out.... Envelope with CHCL printed in huge letters and the only thing included in it is the license itself.... all flopping around and ****....

They say the average is 4 - 5 weeks. My wife and I got ours in 2 1/2 weeks.
My wife and I took the CCL course on January 19th. We both filled out the application online and mailed our finger print cards and training certificates to the ASP via certified mail. They were received (signature verified) on January 24th.
As of today, we are both listed as pending, waiting on fingerprints and training certificates. I have contacted the ASP and was told that with the large influx of applications, they are behind in processing them.
We have friends who applied the same week that we did and are in the same boat.
A bit frustrating but what can you do?

We may have had the same class together. Took mine the 01/19, applied online, sent in my info... Still pending documentation when I check the status.

How long did it take before the website had any info at all? Been almost three weeks and no info at all.

How long have you been waiting, since you mailed all your info in? Mine took a little over 6 weeks, but that was months before all the craziness started.

One man and his wife recently took them just short of 3 months. Another woman said she got hers in 4 weeks. Sooo, somewhere in between I would guess.

When I checked my status today, there was an updated message:

Bottom line, they are just swamped with this stuff. Best to just have patience.

I also took my class Feb. 16th. Mailed mine in the next Saturday I believe. I know they have gotten it because the check cleared the bank. So far they haven't updated the web site. I put in my last name, DOB, and DL#, but I get the same message every time in red letters that they can't pull up any info. based on the information I have supplied..it suggests calling ASP directly, but other blogs have noted strongly discouraging calling....

I remember something about 120 days or maybe it was 90 days, anyway they won't check until that many days have elapsed.
But I wouldn't worry until 7-8 weeks go bye. I know waiting is a real pain.

My daughter applied for hers close to 2 months ago and this last week her status went from pending background check to approved awaiting printing. This it said something about expect license within 2 weeks...
Mine took 34 days from class to delivery.

Yeah, I heard that! But in NY City, you have to get a permit to buy the gun. Which could take almost a year.(if what I heard is correct) Then there's the training class. Then more months to get the permit to carry, if you ever get approved. He claimed a year all totaled.
So we really have it made in comparison.
