I feel well armed with a .22 Magnum, and might with .22 LR, but not in a pistol. I want a revolver as I am not satisfied with the ammo ignition of rimfire. Ballistics are fine enough for me, but I don't want to practice malfunctions when the chips are down. A revolver allow you to move to the next round and cycle back to the dud for a second strike, often they will work the second time. I have a S&W 351PD which is a seven shot J frame snub........
I carry Kel-Tec P3at. The .380's got enough stopping power, and still small enough to be concealed easily and comfortably. I'm sticking to carrying .380's. I've carried 9mm's too and they're just too big and bulky usually.
I use only .32 acp for home/carry. My Bersa holds 10+1 with a 3.5 barrel and my Kel Tec P-32 pocket pistol holds 7+1 they are both dependable and accurate. If I wanted a .380 it would be the Ruger LC380 or the Walther PK380. But I like .32 acp. :dance3:
