I'm looking to see what is everyone's favorite holsters for concealed carry. Just like the other polls, I'm starting it out with just a few choices. If your holsters are not on the list just make a post with them and I'll add them to the list.

For me, the best holster goes by the brand-name Thunderwear. It's totally excellent and accommodates the greatest variety of clothing and conditions. I live in Florida where it's HOT 358 days out of the year, and my normal clothing is a pair of jogging shorts and (usually) a t-shirt. I carry a Springfield XD .40 subcompact (+12-round spare mag) and nobody's ever the wiser. You can even double-carry with this one holster. It's simply fabulous!

How about None of The Above. I prefer a Blackhawk Serpa with paddle. Since I wear a vest any time I leave the house it works perfectly for me. I do have a Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe for some occasions but not that often.

I was tired of giving my money away and never finding something that I was totally happy with so I just make my own now. Now when it doesn't fit right I know who to blame.

Milt Sparks VM-2. Best IWB holster on the market. I've been carrying a 5" 1911 in one for 10 years.

My favorite Holster

Some one just posted about Thunderwear... not sure what that is,
but mine is called "Smart Carry", and it is worn under the clothing, and in
my case, in front of the boys.... I can wear anything, shorts, no shirt....
I carry either or a Firestar .40, or a Commander .45, and there can be
a little print with the commander, but nothing to cause concern.. Nice thing
about the positioning, not many people walk around looking at your crotch.....
Initially it was "different" but in a few minutes, the strange presense
was no longer of any concern.... and now it's a matter of suiting up as if
I was just putting pants on.... I carry everywhere..

Fist Holsters

I carry my SIG Pro 2340 in a FIST #20 ADJUSTABLE IWB. They were one of the few holster makers that fit the SIG Pro when I first got the gun.

MTAC here, though my second choice would be my smart carry.

I used to have my MTAC hung as low as possible on the clips, but i recently adjusted it for a slight forward cant, and it made the holster so much more comfortable. So far i just brought the back of the holster up one notch on the clip, but i may adjust it another to see how it feels.

I knew without looking that the Crossbreed Supertuck would be ahead of the pack. It's the most comfortable holster I've ever owned, period.

Here in Vermont where we don't have to really worry about CCW/OC carry. This is what i use.

SA M1911's: Blackhawk Serpa II OWB, Desantis Inner Piece IWB.
Beretta 92FS: Blackhawk Serpa II OWB, Blackhawk CQC IWB.
SIG P229: Blackhawk Serpa II OWB.
Ruger SP101: Desantis pancake with thumb break.

I feel that the SERPA II's provide some of the best overall weapon retention and protection. I know about some of the malfunctions that some have experienced, But I have always made sure to clean my SERPA's once a week.
