Sancho: Your lack of understanding is nothing new and your comments are indicative of how little you do understand. The Bible answers the question of your first chart in a very definitive manner. The second chart explains the human brain and the functions of each part. Very basic information in both fields. Yes, the concepts of both charts are obviously beyond your understanding but I don't understand why you feel the necessity to tell everyone of your shortcomings. Might I suggest you study what you want to comment on PRIOR to making your statement? It would help if you did have some understanding of the subject matter before attempting to make a remark. Keep studying and you will get the knack of it. Also, you should heed your own line, "Thinking is hard. If that's not you're thing, let someone else do it for you. Read the *insert religious book here*..."

You will see that religion didn't impose restrictions on you, it kept you free in a moral society.

After the SCOTUS overturned them by ruling them unconstitutional or passage of laws counter to religious laws or teachings. True that none effected me, but several effect people I know.
A few you might have heard of;

  • Slavery (13th Amendment)
  • Women's right to vote (19th Amendment)
  • Segregation (SCOTUS Brown v. Board of Education)
  • Birth Control... yes to overrule that religious based ban on birth control (SCOTUS - Griswold v. Connecticut)
  • Ban on interracial marriage (SCOTUS - Loving v. Virginia)
  • Ban on SSM (SCOTUS - Obergefell v. Hodges)

Blue laws - many still in force, and includes hunting on Sunday in some states, or making it illegal to sell cars in some states.

And are you saying that religion has nothing to do with the turmoil in the Middle East, dragging our country into the conflict. Go book a flight on an airplane, and when a government goon fondles your junk, you can thank the hate of religion for that nonsense also.

And I know you do not realize the harm done in the name of gods and their religions.

Take your bible blinders off. It is not the end all be all source of knowledge, yet it is definitely in the running as the source of most willful ignorance.

This must be your twister night, first you want to twist Voltaire's quote, now Nacelle's signature. He has clearly closed the book of ignorance and is thinking, you should try it sometime.

Signs of the End of the Age & The Last Generation

Good morning!
Thank God for another day!
Even now as the days grow wicked...God is...“who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,”

The Coming Snare

The Coming Snare
- By Daymond Duck -

In the past few months, the world has gone through some of the most far-reaching and consequential events in the history of mankind and most people-including most church goers, are unaware of these developments.

Concerning His return, Jesus said, "Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, andso that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth" (Luke 21:34-35).

Our Lord was saying beware of getting so preoccupied with the cares of this world that you fail to watch for His return. Beware of getting so distracted that you fail to watch the signs or you will be caught by surprise.

Below is a short list of recent historic developments (monumental events of great prophetic significance) that only a few are paying attention to.

In June, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriage is legal and their ruling is a clear sign that the days of Lot and the days of Noah have arrived. Whether or not people agree with the court's decision doesn't matter. Their ruling is an indisputable sign that the end-of-the-age has arrived (Luke 17:26-30).

In June, Pope Francis released an encyclical calling for a reduction in the world's population, regulating global climate change, establishing a global constitution, establishing a global court and establishing a one-world government. Doing this will make the rule of Antichrist possible during the Tribulation period (Dan.7:23; Rev.13:7).

In July, a Pew Study found that more Christians are being persecuted today than at any other time in the history of the church (Matt. 24:9). The world is a dangerous place for Christians especially those in the Middle East.

In July, the Temple Institute announced that the architectural plans for a rebuilt Temple are complete and ready to use (Dan. 9:26; Matt. 24:15; 2 Thess. 2:4; Rev.11:1). The Temple will be rebuilt after the Rapture so the finished plans are a sure sign that the removal of the church is drawing near.

In August, the global economy took a beating (Rev. 6:5-6). Puerto Rico defaulted on its debt payment, the EU's credit rating was downgraded from stable to negative, China devalued the Yuan three days in a row, Zero Hedge said 23 stock markets were collapsing and the CBO said America's national debt is unsustainable. These are meaningful reminders that an economic collapse is on the horizon.

In September, the greatest mass migration of people since WW II started and a major factor is the fighting, killing and persecution (kingdom against kingdom) that Jesus said would be a sign of His coming (Matt. 24:7). It is no small thing that multitudes abandoned everything they possessed and risked their lives (and the lives of their children) to flee to safety in other nations.

In September, Russia and Iran moved into Syria. Their presence there is a sure sign that the battle of Gog and Magog could be close and that would mean that the latter days and the latter years have arrived (Ezek. 38:1-5, 8, 16).

In September, 193 nations voted unanimously to create a one-world government in connection with their 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. God can speed this up or slow it down, but if He leaves it like it is, the world is less than 15 years away from the Rapture.

In October, the World Bank asked all of the nations to get together and come up with one inexpensive way to identify and track everyone on earth by 2030 (Rev.13:16-18). This group of globalists want every nation on earth to use the same system, same kind of equipment, compatible data bases, etc. Their tracking system will lead to the mark of the beast and the death of multitudes.

In October, twelve nations completed the negotiations on the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP). These nations cover 40 percent of the world's economy. Others want to join, including China. When all of them get in the result will be a one-world economic system (Rev.13:16-18).

In October, dozens of Palestinian terrorists attacked Jews in Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu promised some of the victim's families that he would install surveillance cameras on every road in Judea and Samaria and on all of the major roads in the area.

U.S. Sec. of State, John Kerry, visited the area and called for surveillance cameras to be installed on the Temple Mount for 24-hour a day monitoring of activities there.

The PA rejected his suggestion, but Mr. Netanyahu said the cameras will be installed in a matter of days and they will eventually be hooked to the Internet so people can view the events that are taking place 24-hours a day.

This is important because the Bible mentions the Two Witnesses that will prophecy for 3 ½ years during the Tribulation period (Rev.11:1-13). The Antichrist will kill them and the entire world will see their bodies lying in the streets of Jerusalem. No one will bury them and all of their enemies will celebrate their death. After 3 ½ days, God will raise them from the dead, call them up to heaven and everyone on earth will see this miracle take place.

Surveillance cameras on the Temple Mount in East Jerusalem and in the surrounding area means that people will soon be able to sit in their homes and witness what is going on there. Many who are alive today may witness their resurrection from the dead and their rapture up to heaven.

So the return of Jesus is going to come upon the world like a snare, just as he forewarned. If we pay close attention we can know where we are on His prophetic clock.

It's one thing to prepare for the return of Christ. It's a whole other thing to look at world events and try to correlate them with verses in the bible. You go from faithful Christian to crazy kook. Israel has had many conflicts that, at the time, were considered a sign of the end. They didn't turn out to be anything more than business as usual for a tumultuous area. You all are so set on saying that his return will be swift and unpredictable. Unpredictable presumes that any speculation is going to be wrong. Unless you feel that you've figured out God's plan? That wall of text above says to me that you think you have. God has to be laughing at you guys for thinking you're even close.

The fact that it is going to happen is not unpredictable. On the contrary, it is predictable, with the exception of the date and time. Jesus said in Mat. 24:44, "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him."
The coming conflict with Israel could only come after Israel became recognized in 1948. The Jewish people have had numerous conflicts throughout their history but none were the one now being referenced. If you will read the Bible you will find that this current time in history is the only time that can be considered as "the end times" because everything is in agreement with the Biblical timeline. Not mere coincidence nor mere fantasy. Figured out God's plan? To a degree, yes, His plan can be figured out by reading the Parable of the Fig Tree. That gives an idea of what to look for but, there again, no definite day or time. You can take Jesus' word for that, Mat. 24:35, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away." That seems very ironclad to me.

That is why we try to prepare for His return and alert others to His coming. Wouldn't you rather be informed early enough to make your preparations rather than be caught totally unprepared?

Your correct about the Fig Tree Prophecy OG. In three different Gospels...Matthew 24:34 - Mark 13:30 - Luke 21:32 - (Signs of the End of the Age), Jesus say's... "I Tell You The Truth, This Generation Will Certainly Not Pass Away Until All Of These Things Have Happened". Here Jesus makes it clear that the Re-Birth (1948) of ISRAEL (Fig Tree) would mark the beginning of this Last Generation. All of these things that Jesus references that will certainly happen are all of the End Times Prophesies being fulfilled. All includes the Rapture, the 7 years of the Tribulation (New World Order/One World Government of Antichrist), and His Second Coming. God has said a man's years (Generation) would be "Three Score & Ten (70 yrs), Or Fourscore (80 yrs) If By Strength". By God's measure, we are already 67 years into this Last Generation. Anyone reading their daily newspaper and having read Scripture can plainly see that Yesterday's Prophecies Are Today's Headlines, and time is much shorter than we think.

Scoffing is directed toward people who pick a date, be it a day, month, or year and it doesn't happen. They make the rest of you look like fools.

I'd be looking strongly at 2018 as being a significant year.
Considering the Psalm 83 War encompassing Isaiah 17, and the war of Gog-Magog (Ezekiel 38-39), are Pre-Tribulation wars, and many top level scholars believe there's a 3 year gap between the Rapture and the Tribulation, I'd say you're right on the money.

So many loons predicting so many dates, scoffing can be exhausting.

I also notice a trend that once the 'end-of-times' fails to occur on schedule that the backpedaling begins in ernest about 'we didn't really mean "/fill in specific date/, but "it could have happened then"..

A very recent example of such backpedaling:
Posted in August:
I agree with you that He is coming back, and I feel that day is not far off. The September time frame seems correct and I would not disagree with that. My only disagreement is in knowing the actual day. Jesus said in Matt. 24:36, "But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only." I think it is so close that I won't quibble about it either way!
Posted in November:
Yep, I believed IT COULD happen then because the times were, and still are, as the Bible says. I also said no one knew the exact time, only the Father. Believe it then, still do believe it is possible. I assume you thought you could shake my faith but I still believe, strong as ever!
