XD and the other atheist on this website are what Dr. Phil calls "right fighters". They argue for the purpose of arguing. They never convince anyone of their point, but will argue it til death, and never admit they may be wrong. Although they believe the are extremely intelligent, they convince no one. What a waste of time and flesh.

sinful nature is always hostile to God....

When you're right, that how it works.

Just more of the same...that's all you have!
.. just rant about the same old stuff over and over and over and over.
Nothing new here.

(Matthew 7:6)... is not a request of God, it is a commandment. To love God means that we obey his commandments (1John 5:3).

"Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces".
(Matthew 7:6)

Don't concern yourself about these God HATERS any longer, they're just angry because the truth you speak contradicts the lie they live.

With Christmas just around the corner in about 90 days, I want to make sure that all the atheists here use the email talents you seem to think you are so great with, to email and notify your boss and let them know you won't be accepting any Christmas Bonus this year. Also when you go to the stores because of the ads of Christmas specials, make sure you tell the clerk you want to pay full price, because you don't believe there is a Jesus Christ or God. and for _ _ _ sake please don't feel compelled give to charities, as it is a Godly thing to do, and you wouldn't want to get caught doing a Godly gesture.

I'm bettin' you hypocrites will be there with your hands out, taking all you can get, in the name of Jesus.

You get every other non Christian religion to go along with that as well and we'll talk. I've always said the extra work you have to do to get the day off isn't worth it. But if they're going to give us a free day I'm going to take it. I don't care what you call the day. You don't have to be Christian to enjoy spending time with the family

OK, every other non-Christian religion should not take the day off. Now are we talking? Pretty good rationalization there.

Haha. What you don't seem to understand is that the meaning of holidays and other traditions changes and evolves over time. What we currently call Christmas is a great example. Many cultures have had a mid-winter gift-giving feast celebrations, and early christian evangelists and leaders simply adapted these holidays for their own use.

One need not be christian to celebrate Christmas because one doesn't need to be christian to do so. The secular celebration of Christmas isn't any more dependant on a belief in a christian god than a christian celebration of Christmas is dependant on a belief in old Roman pagan gods. The meaning and purpose of the holiday has changed over time.

Which proves you don't have a frigging clue what my point is. I could care less what you do in the privacy of your home or temple to the imaginary friends. You all can paint you wankers every color of the rainbow and dance around speaking in gibberish.... I could care less how you waste your life chasing a fantasy.

But when you operate under the misconception that you can impose your rules, rituals, or laws onto anyone and everyone else, then be prepared to man your ******* battle stations.

Silly christian, Christmas hasn't been about Christ in decades, it is only the excuse. Christmas is all about greed, and of course saving the retail stores from going bankrupt. But it is fun watching the christians getting into fist fights over the only item that is actually for sale in Wal-Wart, but not in person, I prefer the Youtube version.

And I am also smart enough to understand that so called christmas sales are a con job to lure those that don't pay attention into believing they are getting a deal. Retail stores love the gullible that aren't smart enough to recognize that the items can be purchased for less when they are not a "Christmas special" price.

I know far too many people that trot off the church on Christmas, yet no one would guess them to be christian the rest of year based on their words, deeds and actions.

Oh, yes, I also expect that you will have no Halloween decorations at home or work, that there will be no candy given out, or candy jars filled with Halloween candy on your desk. And certainly don't let your children go trick or treating.

Nope, it's still the same. Man cannot change what God has deemed true. Although Dec. 25th is not the actual day Jesus was born, it is the day we celebrate His birth. He was more likely born in April.

No. It's not the same. I am not a christian. My celebration of Christmas is not a religious ceremony, it has nothing to do with any god. Your celebration may be different, and I fully support your desire to celebrate in such a way.

It's silly to try to argue that any celebration of Christmas is necessarily a christian ceremony. Look around you, there are plenty of Christmas ceremonies and traditions that have not a thing to do with a christian god.

Man invented what his god deems true.

Boy, are you lame. The word CHRISTMAS means the (MAS) celebration of (CHRIST) Jesus

Yet many people do not celebrate it as a religious ceremony. Many people celebrate in a manner that has nothing to do with a christian god. The name of the holiday doesn't change that

No one is saying that Christmas wasn't named after Christ.
