Is this a striking coincidence or something else? On the day before the tornadoes struck Oklahoma, it was announced from the official OK Gay Pride website, that the Gay Pride Parade would be held the very next day, Sunday, 4:00 p.m., May 19, 2013. That day also happened to be the day of Pentecost, the birthday of the Church of Jesus. It is apparent to me that God was displeased with the activity and the insult to Him. This is just another indicator that God is punishing this nation and very few even seem to understand why. The very mention of the name of God is no longer allowed in our government or schools. Homosexuality is said to be an abomination before God and, in this case, it would seem to me, He wasn't going to allow that insult on that particular day. This country is in for terrible punishment for pushing God away. It was dedicated to God when founded (contrary to some thoughts) and became the greatest nation in the world. We lived by the Bible's teachings and (again, contrary to some thoughts) were considered a Christian nation. We lived by the Ten Commandments and put God foremost in our lives. That began to change some years ago and the need for God seemed to be discarded and He was not even allowed to be mentioned. Everything that theretofore was good, became bad. Things that were bad became good. We have become a topsy-turvy world but, even as bad as we have become, God is still willing to take us back if we, as a nation, will repent and turn back to Him. "If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land."2 Chronicles 7:14. Unfortunately, I am not sure there are many people left who are willing to return to God. They will have an eternity to regret that decision!

I only wish to make one quick point..
Someone (well many someones tend to say it too) that God HATES xyz thing.. Really? I was raised to believe god loves everyone equally/etc.. (not that I follow any current religion)
Soo how can god HATE anything? I can understand some dislike, or frowned on acts.. but actual HATE? find that kinda hard to believe in - then God would not be GOD but some made up thing based on mortal man who has evil/hate in their heart for XYZ thing?
Hate = evil?
Hate = darkside? (yoda)
Hate = four letter word people are being taught not to use because its BAD (seriously have had people tell me not to use the word HATE when talking about things I hate.. because it could be HATE SPEECH)

You answered your own question. God hates sin, but He lovers sinners.

The Boy Scouts Have Been Swept Away
For almost twenty years, one of the chief bastions of American morality and ethics has stood its ground and resisted compromise to mounting social pressures. This last week the struggle ended with the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America voting to allow openly homosexual boys into its ranks. With the foundational principles having changed, the exodus of leaders and members has begun.
With this decision, the BSA has opened an eventual door to a complete homosexual participation, including adults. Even though a majority of members disagreed with the compromise, delegates at the national convention voted overwhelmingly in favor of the change. It is estimated that nearly half a million boys will depart the BSA in the next year. This will have devastating effects on the financial viability of the organization crippling ti efforts to serve and expand.
In a misguided and naive perspective The BSA statement pronounced, "The Boy Scouts of America will not sacrifice its mission, or the youth served by the movement, by allowing the organization to be consumed by a single, divisive, and unresolved societal issue." Unfortunately, the BSA is no longer in control of the process. By acquiescing to these external demands they have shown weakness in the face of liberal compromise and will certainly find that this is only the beginning, not the end, of the issue.
Over two thirds of the BSA local chapter are sponsored by faith-based organizations for decades. Each individual organization is now having to consider the same choice. The reactions are not all what you would expect.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints posted a statement on its website saying sexual orientation has never been, and is not now, something that prohibits young boys from being in Mormon Boy Scout troops. As long as youth refrain from pre-marital sex, a strict church rule, they can participate in Boy Scouts.
In their handbook for lay leadership their policy is their basic framework to admit "young men ... who agree to abide by Church standards" are "welcomed warmly and encouraged to participate" (Handbook 2: Administering the Church [2010], 8.17.3). The once morally straight and uncompromising to social pressures Mormon church has taken a step down.
John Stemberger, Founder of OnMyHonor.Net, a coalition of members of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) including parents, Scoutmasters, Eagle Scouts and other Scouting leaders who affirm Scouting's historic values, said the following:
"It is with great sadness and deep disappointment that we recognize on this day that the most influential youth program in America has turned a tragic corner. The vote today to allow open and avowed homosexuality into Scouting will completely transform it into an unprincipled and risky proposition for parents. It is truly a sad day for Scouting.
The Boy Scouts of America has a logo that bears the phrase 'Timeless Values.' Today, the BSA can no longer use this phrase in good faith. It has demonstrated by its actions that the organization's values are not timeless, and instead they are governed by changing tides of polls, politics and public opinion.
The saddest part of today's decision is what the organization is teaching our children and young people in the program.
The BSA is teaching our kids that when your values become unpopular, just change them.
The BSA is teaching our kids that when your convictions are challenged, just cave to peer pressure.
The BSA is teaching our kids that public opinion polls are more important than principles.
Today, the BSA is teaching our kids that you should not stand up for what is right instead you should stand up for what is popular.
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to "prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law."
As the conservative culture continues to degrade through cultural compromise, it becomes clearer that the war for the minds of our children is being waged at every turn. Not only do our children see the apparent strength of these new liberal ethics but they also see the atmosphere of compromise and apathy associated to those who are the "guardians" of the principles this country was founded upon. Keep in mind God is a spirit not human. He isn't bound by human material thought nor is he subject to earthly physics. God is neither male nor female and the human mind isn't capable of rationalizing the spiritual life that awaits us all. Makes no difference which religion you do or don't follow. Jesus told us Gods house has many rooms. The life you live will determine the room you end up in for eternity. As Ringo has stated many times, the Book of Revelations tells us what to expect in the end. We can't change that. What triggers the start and how long it will take is open to human interpretation. We are told God loves all his children just as we as humans love our children. That doesn't mean that he condones their activities, just as us humans don't necessarily condone the activities of our children. They are still our children as much as we are Gods children.

Being of that "generation" I am not afraid of what is coming. I consider myself to be a Bible Believeing Christian. I go to church every Sunday and volunteer for as much church activities as possible. I do not fear the "end" as I know I will be going "home". I have no interest in underground bunkers and bug-out kits. My plan is to pray up, look up, and go up, when the time comes. Just my opinion, but people that build bunkers must not be believers. If they were they would know of the Pre-Trib Rapture. I simply have a Memorandom on the wall explaining if I suddenly "dissapear". were I went, and what others are to expect that are "Left Behind". The only place in Bible prophecy that I see the possibility of the mention of the United States or an illusion to the United States is in Zechariah 14:2. Zechariah revealed that at the time of the end all of the armies of the world would gather at Jerusalem, under the leadership of Satan, Anti-Christ, and the False Prophet - there to confront Jesus Christ on His return to the Mount of Olives from where He departed some 2,000 years ago. If America survives the 7 year Tribulation Period, their army would join the other armies of the world at Jerusalem. America today is great because the backbone of this nation is made up of true, Bible believing, born-again Christians. When the Christians leave this world at the Rapture of the Church, which could happen at any moment, the most powerful nation in the world will fall from it's power base. America's spiritual decline, in the present, will result in a power decline in the very near future. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Those who find us in the passage point to Ezekiel 38:13 which says that "the merchants of Tarshish and all its villages" (or "young lions" depending on translation) will speak out against the invasion. The argument is that Tarshish is Britain and the "villages" or "young lions" are the English speaking nations like the U.S. and Australia that were founded by British immigrants. To say the least, this is a highly imaginative interpretation. Its validity is seriously questioned by the fact that no one knows for certain the true identity of "Tarshish." Furthermore, recent archaeological developments indicate that Tarshish was most likely Spain, not Britain.
Tarshing America
Another view says that America is identified by the prophet Ezekiel in Ezekiel 38:13. Ezekiel speaks of the “merchants of Tarshish and all the young lions thereof” who launch a diplomatic protest at the time of the Gog-Magog invasion of Israel. Some point to the fact that Tarshish was the westernmost trading and seafaring nation of the ancient world. From there, Tarshish becomes Britain. After all, Britain is the westernmost point on the Continent. And the symbol of Britain is a lion. Consequently, “all the young lions thereof” become the former British colonies, like Australia, Canada and, of course, the United States. Therefore, ipso facto, the merchants of Tarshish and all the young lions thereof must be referring to America. But this doesn’t work, either. First and foremost, nobody can pinpoint with any degree of accuracy the location of Tarshish. The only thing we are sure of is that it isn’t Britain. The most recent archeological evidence puts ancient Tarshish in Spain, which, while close, doesn’t quite win the cigar.

These are not any of the people that shall come along with Gog on his expedition; but some neighbouring nations bordering on Judea, who will address him in the following manner, as he passes through them, or by them. Sheba and Dedan design the Arabians inhabiting that part of Arabia which lay near to Judea, even Arabia Petraea and Felix; and the merchants of Tarshish are the Tyrians and Zidonians that traded by sea, as Tarshish sometimes signifies; or to Tartessus in Spain, where they had much traffic; and may design the people of those places that will at this time be living in Palestine, that trade by sea to foreign parts. The Septuagint and Arabic versions render it the "Carthaginian merchants", or "the merchants of Carthage": with all the young lions thereof; which some interpret of sea pirates, for their cruelty and voraciousness.
