I have both the TCP and the LCP, and carry them both, one in my pocket and one on my ankle. Both brands are excellent and reliable. I think the Taurus has a smoother trigger, but it is finicky about any ammo other than jhp's. The Ruger eats anything, but the trigger isn't quite as smooth. However, I'd buy both of them again if the occasion arose. Both shoot where you point them and that's what counts.

I currently pocket carry a Bersa Thunder 380CC. It is larger and twice as heavy as the LCP/TCP, but has a nine round capacity (8+1), and is easier to shoot.

Over $200 less than the G26. For a double stack, I'd go for the M&P 9c with the 12 round magazine.
I live in Florida a t shirt and shorts is dressed up so concealing a gun is difficult I carry a keltec p3at in a pocket holster in my shorts I think the keltec or the ruger would be good choices I am not familiar with the Taurus I would rather carry my glock 21 but I can't hide it very well the 380 in my pocket is better than my glock at home

P238 easy pocket carry that I know will perform if needed. At 7 + 1 and manageable recoil and a 6 round mag in my other pocket I feel no less prepared than when I carry my XD40sc at 9 + 1.

Had a Sig P238 which is good little pocket gun...lightweight, good sights, low recoil...much more comfortable to shoot than blow-back guns. But I was never very accurate with it and I always had reservations about the .380 round itself. Nonetheless, a .380 pocket gun is better than no gun at all. But practice, practice, practice! BTW, I eventually sold the P238 and now carry a 9mm Colt New Agent.

The bottom line is; you need to make the choice yourself. What's important to YOU and which one (Sig, Bersa, Ruger, S&W, etc) YOU'RE comfortable with. Some will say a .380 isn't large enough... Bull! Decide what features you need and which ones aren't as important and roll with it.
YouTube has wealth of information on Carry guns, it's a great place to begin your research.
