New to Concealed Carry

Hey y'all,

Just wanted to drop a line. I'm new to concealed carry, and am taking my class in a couple of weeks. I'm really looking forward to getting started and exercising my second amendment right to carry and protect myself and those around me.

I have a Rossi R46103 revolver that I'm planning on carrying. I know it's a little bit long with the 3 inch barrel, but it's actually quite enjoyable to take the range. Does anyone have suggestions about a good carry holster or belt? I'd like to carry on the inside of my waist band, but I'm open to any suggestions and opinions.

Thanks and God Bless!

welcome aboard! a good gun belt is a must but you'd have to shop around for a holster to fit your gun there
best wishes

A friend of mine carries a Rossi 357 with a 2 inch barrel in her purse. Nice gun and a treat to shoot. Look at Old Faithful holster kits. You can save some money and customize any way you want.

I don't feel there is anything wrong with carrying a 3" revolver, not too big in my mind. If you do some looking I am sure you can find a holster for your particular revolver. As long as YOU are comfortable with your chosen weapon don't worry about what anybody else thinks! I would highly recomend a good gun belt for whichever holster you decide to use as it will make all the difference in how the gun rides and feels. I am partial to Mitch Rosen's leather products. Fit, finish and quality are second to none, IMHO! Have fun in your search!
