New proposed gun regulation

"Gun Control" is illegal as it is in direct conflict with the Bill of Rights, Second Amendment, which states "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED".

The United States Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land
.

Yep, that's why it's been "infringed" upon more than 25,000 times.

Might be time we reminded them then of just who they work for...

So, what? Are you saying it’s too late? Dang.

I'll say it: It's too late to save the Constitution, and thus, the country. The Constitution's been dead for more than a century, leaving an illegitimate shell of a constitutional republic in its place. The existent tyranny that works independent of any restrictions the Constitution was intended to put on government, cannot be voted out of office. If voting worked, it would be illegal. The only other way is open revolution. Though I'm confident in your sincere belief that "America" is worth fighting for, armies of onesies and twosies ain't gonna cut it. It's too late. Our forebears abdicated their responsibilities to keep freedom alive, and our living generations have done next to nothing to start making up for their failures. Yes, it's too late.

Hate to say it, but I agree with you, for the very simple reason you're correct.

Our founding fathers failed to include one very critical restriction on government, and that is biting us in the butt.

Their omission?

Term Limits for every elected position in the federal government.

Term limits wouldn't have done it either absent the will of The People to enforce governmental overreach independent of law enforcement or military. A few heads on pikes of traitor-legislators along the entrances to D.C. is the only thing that would've prevented the death of freedom in America at the hands of her government. Of course, The People would've been tempted towards overreach too had such a vision been tolerated, such is the black-heart of mankind, but The People enforcing its will upon The People is a much more tolerable thought in a "free country" than government tyrannizing them as we have today.

I'm not saying I'm against term limits, just saying limiting terms without likewise limiting nearly unrestricted power to tyrannize is an inadequate response if actual freedom is the end-result goal.

The "career" politician is what has destroyed this country, and the lack of term limits enabled career politician to exist in the first place. The rampant self-serving greed and corruption we have today would not be possible or at least very remote if term limits were in place.

Because our government is OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, & FOR THE PEOPLE, it's fair to say that America's greatest enemy is IT'S CITIZENS. The people have always had the power to impose term limits, it's called VOTING. We have a corrupt government because the majority of our citizenry is corrupt.

Kill the people! They are the enemy!😠

Hey, that's us🤔

I'll say it again, the people have always had the power to impose term limits, it's called VOTING. We have a corrupt government because the majority of our citizenry is corrupt. One of the reasons we can’t drain the swamp is because we keep on filling it.
