New proposed gun regulation

I heard on the news tonight that Gabby Gifford’s anti-gun group is trying to include muzzle loaders the same way every other gun is regulated just because a company is trying to attach a suppressor to it?
.
Now I know for sure, things have gotten way out of control with these anti-gun groups.

I didn't realize ex-congresspersons "groups" are in charge of any legislation that they could "include" something in this phantom regulation you are referring to. What is the bill number? Can we just post of a gif where the legislation's sponsor is laughed off the floor of the house? Maybe Hank Johnson will sponsor it. People think suppressed firearms are quiet as in the movies. That's funny.

There is no bill that I'm aware of and the conversation is more likely a distraction from the steaming pile of dung that is National Reciprocity. That legislation's cheerleader on here has left the building for greener pastures.

Nice,
The Gifford’s anti-gun lobbying group is pressuring the powers in Washington to propose this in a bill, nothing has been done yet, but you can bet that the anti-gun Democrats might go for this, even though you and I both know it’s so damned stupid.
.
There was this NY local Senator talking about this that kept on talking about how the suppressor on a 50 cal. muzzleloader would be a terrible thing to have available because it would make that gun silent to shoot, which show’s he doesn’t know anything about gun’s & suppressor’s.
.
As far as this National Reciprocity thing goes, I haven’t heard or read anything about it going anywhere for a long time. It would just be an excuse to compile all of our names in connection with the gun’s we own and we both know that’s a road we never want to go down.

There's a zero chance on any restrictions on muzzleloaders. I can understand why Gabby Gifford's took what happened personally because it was personal. I get it and I wish she cared as much about mental health because her attacker wasn't exactly hiding his illness.

The NR bill is stalled in committee where I hope it's starved for oxygen and expires. The NRA continues to honk it's horn as usual.

You mean THIS Gabby? See, she was. Huge gun supporter until her brain was split.
It’s her loser astronaut husband that “Speaks” on her behalf... yeah the same Mark that was denied the sale of an AR15 due to his background check popping...

Yeah he's a Navy 0-6 Astronaut I'm sorry to say. How in the heck does a senior Naval Officer, an astronaut, married to a Congressperson, in ARIZONA of all places get denied for owning an AR? I have never heard that one.

From what I remember, when he was in the gun shop, he told them that he was buying the AR-15 and was going to turn it over to a second party and the gun shop considered this a straw purchase and denied him from buying the gun. There wasn't anything on his background that stopped it, just his big mouth.

He must have been trolling a gun store for his anti gunner movement. I don't know anyone that has ever been in the process of purchasing a firearm and then telling the LGS that they were going to give or sell it to a third party. People give them as gifts but that's a legal transaction between private parties and who would tell that to a LGS? As long as I'm conforming with all applicable laws before AND after the purchase, then POS banter should remain in the realm of the legal purchase that's occuring. He was likely trying to get the retailer to say something he thought would help his cause. What a dink.

BINGO!
That’s what it was... sorry about that.
Yeah, he said he just wanted to show how easy it was to buy one but he was going to donate it to the Cops.

Yup! That’s a Straw Man Purchase alright.

Way to go marky! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Just leave a state with liberal carry laws, and go into a state where a handgun of any kind is illegal in a car and see how far that supposed Am. Jur. cite gets you. Let me know. About every state gives prisoners paper an envelope and stamps.

‘Literally Know Nothing’: Tucker Takes On Dem Over Banning MUZZLE LOADERS [VIDEO]
,
By: Justin Caruso
.
Fox News’ Tucker Carlson took on a Democrat Thursday over a new gun control measure targeting muzzle loaders.
.

.
Carlson asked New York City Council member Jumaane Williams, “So how many crimes do you think in the last, I don’t know, 100 years have been committed with muzzle loaders?”
.
Williams answered, “Well, once this new muzzle is created, we just don’t know. But, what you do a great job in, and it works for you, so I’m not saying you should stop. You do a great job of focusing on these single things…”
.
Tucker responded, “Oh you mean the facts? Yeah that is kind of my trade.”
.
Williams said, “No, it’s not facts it’s just–avoidance of a conversation about guns. And you do it very well.”
.
The Daily Caller co-founder responded, “Well actually, I’d very much like to have a conversation about guns.”
.
“So here you have Gabby Giffords’ group saying that we need to regulate a rifle, a firearm, they clearly know nothing about,” the Fox host continued. “A muzzle loader is loaded from the muzzle, from the end of the barrel, from the hole where the bullet comes out, and you put it in the powder, and then the wadding, and then the round and the whole thing takes like a minute. So it’s not probably going to be responsible for a lot of mass shootings.”
.
My Thoughts:
.
I would bet that this New York City Council member Jumaane Williams has never handled a muzzleloader much less shot one and he’s coming on Tuckers show and opens his pie hole, looking like a fool, but it’s not the first he’s done that or most likely not the last time.

"Gun Control" is illegal as it is in direct conflict with the Bill of Rights, Second Amendment, which states "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED".

The United States Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land
.

Yep, that's why it's been "infringed" upon more than 25,000 times.
