The first one got to big and was hanging up the database when I was trying to do some maintenance. I deleted it and started this new one. Post here for new welcomes. Please don't start new threads.

Hello from Calgary, Alberta.
I have owned and shot many different guns in the last 50 years. Recently I started looking into all the regulations in Canada and the USA to ensure that I don't contravene any laws or legislation posessing and transporting arms and ammunition in both countries.
I hope that your posts will direct me to the information I am seeking.

Hi all. I've been around a while and I'm probably overdue for introducing myself. This forum has been a great resource for me in the past and I look forward to contributing more.

New member as of 10/14/2016. My name is John Edgar Lacher. I own a Glock 19, 9mm, S&W Shield 9mm, and Bersa 380 ACP. All three weapons are listed on my CCW.
I switch on and off when I carry.

Howdy all. New member from north of the 49th. I'm a BC resident who will be scouring the forum and looking for information about concealed carry when I am visiting the US. I am aware of the 6NIA forms (submitted) and I currently possess a nonresident concealed carry permit issued from New Hampshire.

My typical enterence into the states will be by road through Washington, Montana, or Idaho. I'm currently researching the reciprocity agreements as well as state by state requirements and laws. I suspect I may end up with a whole portfolio of plastic and papers depending on where I might want to travel. I'm sure traveling by air will be a whole new ball of wax, if even possible.

Canadian firearms laws suck. I envy you folks. Not to get political, but I hope Trump wins. It will benefit the US firearms community.

Howdy from Houston, Texas. I've had my CHL for about a week now and I'm still getting used to it. Guess that takes a while. So anyway, I'm here to learn, contribute, share experiences, whatever. Glad to be here.

ok so I am new here but not new to Conceal carry. I don't even have the ability to change my profile pic yet. I have been searching and I cant seem to find anything in here on Title 18 U.S.C. 930. it is the "no firearms on federal property Code. " My questions about it are for anyone who can help me understand its legality. It seams to be an infringement of the second amendment thus invalid, right? If I am in the wrong thread, please guide me to the correct one.

Here is an older thread on a related issue: Experience with violation of 18 USC 930(a). FYI, this was my #6 hit when searching with Google for "Title 18 U.S.C. 930". Feel free to post there or to open a new thread.
