Hello from the Old Dominion and Semper Fi, my name is Bud Allen, and I am very impressed with the info I have found here. Look forward to learning and sharing with like minded citizens

Hi all, I'm glad to be here. I grew up with archery and guns (my dad was a competition shooter & hunter). I finally got my LTC A last year and looking to find a good range to practice with my new P238. I've lurked some, and you guys are great. Thanks for being here.

New member from Minnesota, today was my first conceal carry in public. Felt strange but also an excellent confidence builder. For once I don't feel like a sheep, more like a responsible patriot in control of my family's safety! Glad to be part of a educated and prepared group!

Hello, I have had a shotgun for many years, and since Wisconsin just recently passed a CCL, I bought my first handgun. Now I am hooked, I have my CCP and have bought 10 guns since. I carry when ever I go to the bigger cities, and feel much safer doing so.

Hello all, My name is Jeff. I live in Northeast Oklahoma. I like to hunt, fish, offroad some in my jeep, and just about any type of motorsports. Recently became a life member of the NRA. Thank you for allowing me to join USACarry.COM

Welcome to all the new folks and to the new Okie, Jeff.

Glad you have joined the NRA. Keep working to protect our Second Amendment Rights.

Hi all,

New on this site from Oklahoma. Just got my hadngun license as it is now called here. Have yet to carry concealed or open but can now do so. Currently have a Ruger SR9c with a crimson trace which I have put around a 1000 rds through. Get to the range at least once a week to try to improve my accuracy as well as dry fire at home. Hope to pick up some good pointers here.

Ron

Hi, everyone! I'm originally from Buffalo, NY, and have lived in the Charlotte NC metro area (now in Fort Mill/Indian Land, SC) for 12+ years. I moved to NC on my birthday in 11/2008, staying in NYS just long enough to vote against Hillary Clinton for US Senate. For most of my career with the Social Security Administration, I was a closet conservative. I'm happily retired.

I'd taken my Second Amendment rights for granted for most of my 59 years, never having seriously considered owning a handgun until BHO was re-elected. The prospect of losing those rights spurred me to action, and I've come to understand the importance of being proficient in handling a pistol for protection, for myself and those around me.

We keep a shotgun at the ready for home protection. In 1983 (yes, it was that memorable!), I fired a single shot from a boyfriend's full-size .357 Magnum S&W revolver, just for the experience. That was the extent of my experience with handguns until I purchased my first weapon, a Ruger LC9, a few weeks ago. I'm proud to be one of the quarter million newest NRA members of the past few months and have applied to join the Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club, where I plan to devote a good bit of my time to acquiring the skills of a responsible CC-permitted handgun owner. I'll be taking the SC CCP course on Jan. 26th

Yep, serious as a heart attack about this endeavor.

I love to learn new things and decided to spend a good bit of my retirement doing just that. I became a certified Master Gardner that first year and enjoy that gentle art. 2013 will be my Year of Living LESS Dangerously!

Pat
