I recieved my State of Florida Concealed Weapons Permit in May, and just purchased my first retail CCW, a Ruger LCP. I love this little beauty. My wife and I are preparing for an out of state road trip; it will be by my side the entire time. Lucky for me all of the states I am traveing through have reciprocity with Florida.

Welcome. If you own an Android or Apple smartphone, I suggest investing the $1(apx) in an App with all 50 states laws. Remember that when you are in a reciprocal, you have to observe that State's laws and there are often local weirdnesses that are often counter-intuitive.
 
My wife and I are patiently waiting for our permits to arrive. I just found 'USA Carry' this weekend and registered for access to all the knowledge--I have no problem learning from others experiences...

Hi all from MA, "the worst state to try and get a cc permit" haha. Well maybe not the worst, but I did try and was denied to obtain mine. Anyways, looking forward to browsing around and learning a thing or two.

New member here from California. CCW in Nevada and currently awaiting Utah and Florida. Loved firearms ever since I was introduced to them in the Boy Scouts. I've been a long time lurker of this site and finally committed to registering. You guys are a gold mine of information.

Hello to everyone.
I am a SC resident with interests in DE and the "communist" state of Maryland.
I just read about court decision handed down which may help citizens of MD obtain CWP.
I hope to gain some insight about my ability to defend myself and family from this forum while in Maryland.
 
I just joined today. I'll probably be a lurker for the most part but I may chip in occasionally. I was interested in getting a gun for concealed carry and thought I'd read up on it a bit. I'm moving into the big city soon and it'd be nice to have a little peace of mind.
 
Hi all. Name's Dave and I live in Richmond, VA. Received my CHP from Henrico about 5 days ago and have just started carrying. Over the past month while I was waiting for the permit to go through I've been doing a lot of browsing on the net for concealed carry info and I've been very impressed with the threads and articles I've found here. Thanks for having me.
