Newbee

I am new here, just got my CCP in TX and looking for suggestions on a lightweight concealed revolver. I am looking for a handgugun that is lightweight but also with some stopping power.

I spent 14 years in the USMC, so I know how to handle any weapon. My wife is 68 years old with a partial right arm disability, she cannot pull the slide on a semi to clear a jam.

I am looking for suggestions that will suit us both. I looked at the Ruger LCR, but have heard about problems with Flash Cut.

any other suggestions?

Newcomer

Hi, I'm new to the site and new to concealed carry. Even though I am comfortable with firearms, being raised shooting and spending 22 years in the Army, I am finding it hard to get used to carrying. I lood forward to an exchange of good information on this site.

Coast to Coast

Retired and travel coast to coast to see the kids. Need help with CCW for all states with out being bankrupt and passing the bar exam.

I'm a CA resident (no CCW in my home State), but I have a Nevada and Florida non-resident. Except for my home state I can drive and walk in a polite manner from the CA border to East Coast, I plan on driving the Keys someday in my Chevy powered 914. The NV and FL permits are honored inbout 30+states, This site overs a great reciprocity map!

Cheers,
Jim

CCW Dilemma

You might try a type 3 FFL collectors liscense. That allows you to transport in every state. Check the requirements. Mine cost $30.

New

Hello, I am new to this site and to ccw. I love guns and love to target shoot. I am retired and this is my new hobby. This seems to be a great site for lots of info.

Shootstraight

Hello from California. I'm new to USA Carry and learning how to navigate what appears to be a great web site. I'm a relatively new FFL and firearms instructor. Look forward to learning from everyone else's experience.

Hello from John Adams, or the Spirit of John Adams, anyway...:pleasantry:

Yes, I died on the 4th of July, 1825 in Massachusetts, but I ended up with everyone else my age (and older), in Florida.

Wow, how you kids have screwed up this free republic thing !?!

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie from New York. I can hear you laughing regarding the ridicules restrictions put on us in this state. I only have a few more years before retiring to a less communist state. I am glad i found this site, because i think their is wealth of experience and knowledge to tap into.

Hi all.

Newbie from Middletown, RI here. Just got my FL non-resident permit, and am waiting on Maine non-resident. I'm considering applying here in RI, although it's a strange environment.

Hey Everyone, new here

Hi everyone, I am Daven, you may call me Gimpy. I am a 41 year old disabled man with Multiple Sclerosis. I use a wheelchair or crutches for mobility, because of this I am a prime target for muggers, and people who would wish me harm. I have about a dozen friends who are also Gimp's who have either been assaulted or mugged. i used to be a private detective and LEO so I am very comfortable with my weapon. I currently carry a Sig P220 or SigPro 2022. I am new to this forum and look forward to meeting more people. I am in Phoenix AZ. That's it for me. Anyone local who might want to go shooting sometime, let me know.

Gimpy
