My perfect carry Gun.

I would luv a 3.5 or 4 inch barrel, .32 acp, striker fire, 4lb trigger, manual safety, 12 round mag, excellent sights, grips which can be replaced with custom wood grips, thin, 20 ounce unloaded weight, all metal, in nickel or black finish.

My Bersa Thunder .32 acp is close to perfection, except the first trigger pull is a hard long pull. But it is a dependable, accurate gun.

I think we overlook the .32 acp too much. :victory:

My carry gun is a Springfield Armory XD sub-compact .40 S&W. It has a 2.5" barrel but is extremely accurate and reliable. 9 round mag for carry and it also came with a 12 round mag with grip extension. Very light as well.

My carry is a Glock 23 Gen 4 .40 S&W. 4.03" barrel.Nice feel in my mid-size hands. I have 4 13 rd mags. Had put on Tru-glow green TFO night sights. Great shooter as well as conceal carry.

SFLD 1911 MIL-SPEC went to their V10. Happy and well armed. 45 ACP SJHP, (I) couldn't ask for more fire power in such a small platform. JUZ ME saying. Everybody else choose their own.

I guess it's good enough for James Bond.
Mine's a PX4 .40. Call me overcompensating...

Nah, I think users of .32 ACP are undercompensating.

Seriously, how many times are you going to start a thread on this?

Yes, you have a .32 ACP, yes you think it's the best thing since sliced bread. Great.

Most don't.

And that is the summation of every one of your threads.

The last one was two months ago: http://www.usacarry.com/forums/general-firearm-discussion/41056-32-acp.html

The a couple months before that: http://www.usacarry.com/forums/conc...0-how-much-gun-do-you-need-conceal-carry.html

Then a few months before that: http://www.usacarry.com/forums/handgun-discussion/35616-will-32-acp-make-comeback.html

Not to mention all the posts you have had in other's threads where you tout the .32.

cluznar, we get it. You like the .32.

Yes, I like the .32 acp and the .22 and the .380 and I tell people all the time. Just like people who like 9mm .40 and .45 tell people they like them. recommend the .32 acp to everyone. Someone has to stand up for it so that people will learn to understand what an excellent carry gun it makes. If you believe in the Big Bang theory then I guess you only like hearing about larger calibers.

The .32acp is a great carry gun until you have to shoot someone that is hell bent on killing you.

Myself I'm not a fan of a CCW 9mm or smaller and there is a reason why too.

I have personally seen people shot with a 9mm that continued to fight/shoot back.

I also personally know people that have used a 9mm either in SD, HD or in The Line of Duty that have "upgraded" to a larger and more powerful caliber.

The last time I was shot at the BG used a 9mm and to this day I'm grateful that he wasn't using a "real" gun because a 147gr 9mm Win Black Talon was stopped by a simple 3-ring binder notebook.

So, go out and shoot a person or two that is he'll bent on killing you, THEN come back and tell us about the great and all powerful .32acp.

This is precisely why I carry a three ring binder everywhere I go, and you should too.

The 32 acp is not being overlooked. It has simply been surpassed by more powerful and efficient calibers. Calibers that will do the job better, with a greater chance of a single shot take down. This applies as well to the .380 which has also been surpassed, even though manufactures still build and promote them.

Food for thought, don't you think that manufactures would have built the kind of weapon you're wishing for if there was a real market to buy it. Since there isn't such a market then they aren't going to build one. "if you build it, they will come" doesn't apply to this situation, sorry.
~
As soon as I saw the title to the thread and that it was from cluznar, I knew it would be about one of your favorite calibers as usual.
~
Guns fascinate me too, I just don't limit myself to just specific calibers, nor do I try so hard to force my likes on others. Got to say it is really getting tiring, don't ya know.

Why does someone have to "stand up for" the .32 ACP? Does it not stand on its own merits like many of the other calibers do? The other calibers do not need a voice for themselves. Why do you think that is? Are they popular for a reason? Could the reason be that they have proven themselves in ballistics testing?

There are many firearms owners and many calibers. To think in the ammunition marketplace that any caliber needs a voice is somewhat laughable. The voice most people listen to are the ballistics tests. They don't need someone marketing a caliber.

If you believe in the Big Bang theory...
Please don't ever assume you know what I believe. I generally try to deal in facts rather than opinions when it comes to conversations on topics like this rather than getting into beliefs about differing calibers.

The .32 auto is not a real popular round as we know but.....as we all know it doesn't really matter the caliber but more so a well placed shot when or if we are ever placed in this situation. in 1999 I saw a dead man next door to the house the wife and I owned at the time (we were renting it out) who had been shot with a .32 laying in the front yard after what turned to be a bad drug deal. I wasn't 20 feet from the deceast and saw five bullet holes in his chest and NO blood. I'm NO doctor but surmised that he was dead after the first shot that was direct to the heart. The .32 ACP is not my first choice to carry but it will kill. You just have to be prepared to trust it if your life depends on it. Is the .32 the best round? Hell NO. but it will k.........,
