Much ado about the Pope​

Roman Catholicism's leader is in Washington, DC. Traffic is snarled. The media is in an uproar. The town is taken by Pope Francis, the socialist pope who has said that allah and God (YHVH) are the same. Scratching your head on that one? It's true. On Wednesday, March 20, 2013, Pope Francis welcomed an ecumenical group of religious leaders who attended his inauguration. He said, "I greet and thank cordially all of you, dear friends belonging to other religious traditions; firstly the Muslims, who worship the one living and merciful God, and call upon Him in prayer. I really appreciate your presence, and in it I see a tangible sign of the wish to grow in reciprocal trust and in cooperation for the common good of humanity."

So the Pope prays to the same god as do Muslims. After the remarks, the website Catholic Answers, which equips people to defend the Roman Catholic faith, tried to explain away the Pope's remarks, saying, "Pope Francis's words have a pastoral rather than doctrinal purpose. Their aim is to build inter-religious bridges by generously acknowledging whatever can be found to be true in other faiths-not to make precise pronouncements about their theology." Trouble is, the Pope is playing with the truth of the Holy Scriptures when he makes irresponsible statements like this. It leads people to false doctrine and has the underpinnings of creating a one world religion that ignores doctrine and embraces the "pastoral."

The Koran's Sura 4:171 says, "O followers of the Book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium (Mary) is only a messenger of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His messengers, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one Allah; far be It from His glory that He should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is sufficient for a Protector." Sura 19:29: "God forbid that He Himself should beget a son!" Sura 17:111:"Praise be to God who has never begotten a son; who has no partner in His Kingdom..."

In Matthew 24, Jesus explains the end times. He said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Verse 11 says, "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many." Those who would say that allah and God are the same are chief among the false prophets. The basic tenet of the Christian faith is found in John 14:6, where Jesus declares: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me." 2 John 7 says, "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." The Koran, the holy book of allah, denies that Jesus is the Christ. Much ado about the Pope.

I have no need of a "pope". I can speak directly to Jesus anytime, anyplace I want. In my church we don't need to go through anybody else. We have a pastor to lead worship, but the rest of the week we are on our own. No ceremonies or fancy robes, It's come as you are.

In the New Testament Jesus is the Ultimate High riest who forgives our sins by offering Himself as a sacrifice on our behalf, once and for all.

For G-d so loved the World that he sent His only Begotten Son (so mankind could bow down to stone and clay idols, recite endless sayings and follow a leader into oblivion) (So that once a year you light up a tree in your house spend money to buy things for kids and to color eggs to hide and say a rabbit hid them) (So that on a certain Tuesday you could eat drink and make merry and then fast for a while). NO. For G-d so loved the World He gave his only begotten son to take the sins of the World to the Cross, die and be raised from the dead to save all who would believe in Him and call him Lord.

It is not about bashing it is about simple truth and the love of God. We, followers of Christ, who read and study the Word care about others. We do not hate the followers of false Christian faiths it is out of love. Christ's message was very simple. Just read the book of Acts, if you care, instead of following a man and his thoughts and feelings, follow the Word. Man's way and that of God's are not the same.

IGNORANCE such as that of Gregmm6 is without question the hallmark of this Last Generation. Christianity is not a religion, it is a faith relationship. All religion is "man made".God hates religion..."But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be condemned to hell!" (Galatians 1:8) Christianity (Gospel of Christ) is man getting to God, God's way, through faith in CHRIST ONLY. Religion (any gospel contrary to the Gospel of Christ) is man's attempt to get to God, man's way, any way EXCEPT through Christ.

Everywhere he goes, Pope Francis attracts worshipful crowds of people, straining and reaching to touch any part of him as if something spiritual and holy could be imparted to them by doing so. People weep, they cry, they hold up their sick children and beg him to touch them in the hopes they will be healed. Pope Francis has no power to perform any miracles of any kind, yet the throngs of people come and worship at his feet as if they were in the presence of Jesus Himself. How does the Pope react to all this attention, does he tell them that he is only a man and then point them to Jesus? No, he does not. Francis allows them to pay him homage, and accepts their worship as if that was his due. He is called "His Holiness" and "Holy Father" as if he actually were those things. Worshiping another human being who openly receives your worship is a spiritual delusion of the highest magnitude. The Apostle Peter in Acts 3, after healing the impotent man, publically declared he had no innate "holiness" within himself, but not so with the Catholic pope, he uses that title as if it were a birthright. In the book of John, Jesus talking of God the Father refers to Him as "Holy Father". It is one of the very names of God Almighty. It is also one of the main titles that Catholic popes give themselves, stolen right out from the mouth of Jesus.

Representative Bob Brady, a devout Catholic and Democrat from Pennsylvania immediately made his way to the podium after Pope Francis finished speaking and grabbed the glass that was still filled with water. He then drank the water, gave some of the water to his wife Debra, and saved the rest for his grandchildren. Representative Brady took photos as well, and had his staff send them out to the press. He also shared some of the water with members of his staff and assistant, also a devout Catholic. As for the saved water, he plans to sprinkle it on his grandchildren and one great-grandchild. That is insane! Why would anyone want to do that? Drinking after someone else you don't know is disgusting, but thinking that "sprinkling the water" on your grandchildren imparts some sort of "papal blessing" reveals something else altogether. The Bible says that when the Antichrist shows up, he is worshiped as if he were God Himself. In watching the millions of deluded, adoring worshipers of Pope Francis, you are seeing exactly the type of reception that the Antichrist will receive when he shows up. Someone deleted my thread

Hey, would the moderator of this area please pm me and explain why my post got deleted?

I was posting out of love for the original poster to be a bit more tolerant of those who don't follow his beliefs.

This is, after all, a site dedicated to everyone's constitutional rights to bear arms ... the second amendment.

Out of love, I'm asking those who are not tolerant of of others posting their opinions on religion, to please respect my (and several millions of other Americans) FIRST AMENDMENT right : respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.

I'm finding this kind of intolerance to be enough to keep me from even logging into this site.

And please, remember, I'm posting this "out of love" ... for the American constitution and my faith ... a faith which might be different than yours.

Please allow other opinions without mocking them or even worse, DELETING THEIR POSTS TO THIS THREAD!!!!

And yes, I expect a closed minded moderator to delete this post ... just like they deleted my first post. I am Catholic and darn proud of that fact. I believe in one catholic and apostolic christian church ... catholic with a small "c"....

Please atleast send me an explanation of your actions. Thanks.
