Is This Someone's Rights or a Special Kind Of Stupid?

Too bad for the flaming. Other than that, it's an interesting thread. My first instinct would have been to say that blind people shouldn't have firearms because they probably cannot use them safely. But,

1. What's the matter, wasn't this discussion enough already?

2. There should be no government permission required to carry a firearm in the first place. Having to obtain the government's permission to exercise the 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms goes completely 100% against the very reason why the 2nd Amendment protects the right to keep and bear arms.

4. Again...just like always....where is the danger to the public in states like Washington that have no visual requirement to carry a firearm? Where is the blood running in the streets?

Way too many people in this country want to limit the 2nd Amendment to only those THEY judge to be worthy.

Particularly with point 4, I find myself agreeing with LCDR.
