Is our world in chaos?

Just a douche on the street who is trolling. He's not trying to get answers. Asking for proof of a change of kind is a loaded question. There was never a noticeable change at any one point in time. Evolution is a slow change over millions of generations. The proof is in the ground. As we find more evidence, the gap in tree of how things evolved is filled in. Of course we don't know exactly what when on. But the theory of evolution is bearing out as we learn more, not being disproved.

Despite a nonsensical quote, most of the world is born into their religion thinking it's the right one. Billions upon billions going to hell because the only thing they did wrong was being born in the wrong part of the world.
Not true. God knows where the willing hearts are and He will provide a way to get the Gospel to them.

The ministry of Jesus started in a very tiny part of Israel. Yet, look how the early church spread. Within the lifetime of some of His apostles the Christian church had spread to Turkey, Greece, Italy, and more. Despite persecution, no modern means of communication or transportation, and very little printed material, the Word of God was spread. It eventually spread to North America, South America, China, Russia/Soviet Union, Korea, the nations of Africa. It is still spreading, and each new Christian joins the universal church thru salvation by grace only. No one is born into it, and it is not restricted to special parts of the world.

Nothing proves you worship a "Loving God" like basing an eternity of suffering and torment on that.
God is holy and His Heaven is holy, without sin.

Heaven would become Hell if sin were allowed into it.

God doesn't want anyone to go to Hell. That's why Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for all sinners.

Please justify causing an event where untold babies and small children drown, and I don't give a damn what you call it or don't call it, there is no justification.

My concern is in the fact that educated adults believe this was an actual event. The concept is so absurd, the logistics (gathering/feeding/etc.) are absurdly beyond what could even be done today, and the blind raging hatred of a god that could do such a thing. Then you view him as a 'nice guy'. That is seriously messed up, and a clear demonstration of the control religion has, as explained by Voltaire "Those that can make you believe in absurdities, can make you commit atrocities."

XD: Again, you are posing a question as if God is required to give you an answer for His actions. I don't think you are high enough on the organizational chart to question Him. His justification is/was all that was required and, I dare say, involved decisions which you couldn't possibly fathom. You still can't accept the fact that God is in charge in the world and your opinions have no meaning to Him. Hard lesson to learn.

If you are going to quote Voltaire, explain this comment by him: "What is faith? Is it to believe that which is evident? No. It is perfectly evident to my mind that there exists a necessary, eternal, supreme, and intelligent being. This is no matter of faith, but of reason"

You've already stated that you believe there is no justification so in your eyes I can't justify anything no matter what I post. Since according to you the worldwide flood never even happened I have to wonder if your ire is sincere. Do you feel this same way about the millions of babies who are aborted year after year?

Well, we're making some progress here. At least we are now referred to as educated adults. :)

The concept is so absurd, the logistics (gathering/feeding/etc.) are absurdly beyond what could even be done today,
Have you made a serious study of the flood and the ark? (No wiki included.) Anyway, it would be beyond anything man by himself could conceive and deploy but for the God Who created the universe it is not too hard.

God does not exhibit blind rage. He is more than a "nice guy." He is loving, patient, and all-knowing, among other attributes. If He truly was full of blind raging hatred He would have destroyed all human life long before the flood, and He wouldn't have left anyone or anything surviving.

Does God hate? Yes. He hates sin and evil.

Ah yes, the diversion from the topic by bringing abortion into the discussion, totally irrelevant. No I do not approve of abortions as birth control, but that is not the point we are debating. But either way, abortions are an individual decision of each woman who has one, and neither your or I can judge that decision because we are not in her position.

Additionally it is totally different than a god killing or whatever you want to call it every single baby (born, living/breathing) on the entire planet with a single event.

And while you condemn abortion, you continue defend and justify the drowning of untold numbers of babies and small children. That is some sick twisted logic.

No, for the simple reason I cannot give any viable consideration to the most absurd fantasies in your bible. The list is long, all from the imaginations of men that understood nothing of reality. A&E, stopping the sun, Noah and the fantasy cruise, and many more. Logic and reason leaves me shaking my head that any mentally capable adult clings with such ignorance to these children's fairy tales.

You god is the figment of your imagination, you should be the one questioning, as I can't.

Alas...... fearful little man still trying to convince others his god is real through irrational threats of the boogie man in his mind. Other than the fact I know you are serious in your irrational fear, one would could perceive this constant threat as an insult to my intelligence.

Voltaire's musings, a description of his deism, and the statement immediately before you quote is "Let each of us boldly and honestly say: How little it is that I really know!".

No diversion and not irrelevant. I wanted to know if it was the death of babies that disturbed you, or if you were using their deaths as an attempt to stir emotions against God.

Additionally it is totally different than a god killing or whatever you want to call it every single baby (born, living/breathing) on the entire planet with a single event.
Only God knew what would have happened had He allowed them to live to adulthood. He knew what was best for the fate of all mankind.

Just as you posted that neither you nor I can judge others' decisions, we can't judge God's actions. We don't have any of the knowledge or insight that He has.

And while you condemn abortion, you continue defend and justify the drowning of untold numbers of babies and small children. That is some sick twisted logic.
God doesn't need me to defend or justify His actions. His ways are perfect and mine are not.

A&E, stopping the sun, Noah and the fantasy cruise, and many more. And yet, many mentally capable adults do believe the Word of God, the Bible, in its entirety. It's not a book of fairy tales. But it's not my job to convince you of that. That's for the Holy Spirit.

If being hurt by the church causes you to lose faith in God, then your faith was in people, Not God!

Yesterday's Prophecies - Today's Headlines

Vulnerability is becoming more commonplace in our lives with each passing day. The looming recession, the strange microbes and viruses we're hearing about on the news, the mad dictators testing their hydrogen bombs and long-range missiles, the constant terrorist threats, the specter of war in the Middle East, and politics, and more politics! All the signs of the last days are converging at the same time. Bible Prophecy is happening right before our eyes and like birth pains, the predicted events are happening more frequently and more intently. With so many end times Bible prophecies on the brink of fulfillment, the events that are occurring now on a daily basis can only lead us to conclude that the end of this age approaches rapidly

You can't find the proof. It isn't there & all that has been held up as proof gets disproven. Evolution takes great faith. There is plenty of evidence to support that.

"Fearful little man?" You are a frequent name caller.

Name-Calling:

Use of profane, derogatory or dehumanizing terminology to describe another individual or group.

Labels Designed to Hurt

Name-calling is one of the most common tactics people use to hurt others or disparage them. It often occurs when someone has an emotional argument to make with little or no supporting logical argument.

The emotional mind can often have a “mind of its own” or “emotional intelligence” which operates independently of the logical mind, and name-calling is a product of this emotional mind, an explosion of feeling in the form of barbed words.

Most people who indulge in name-calling know that the label or name they choose to describe another individual is not factually accurate. The label is often regarded as hyperbole or as a metaphor. Something which more accurately describes how the speaker feels about the other person than what the speaker actually thinks about the other person.

I'm not sure if you are, "Most people." Only you know that. I do find name calling an intellectually lazy tactic often used in political debates. It appears you desire to hurt our feelings. Maybe you hope to shame us into submission. It definitely serves to make you look bad.

Name calling and ridicule are one of the chief forms of the Radical Left as outlined in Saul Alinsky's, "Rules For Radicals", the guide book for Socialist and Liberal Progressives anti- Americans. Just sayin'.

When I was a little kid in elementary school, my mom told me that people only call each other bad names when the name caller is poorly educated, and should be responded to with pity, not anger.

I hate when people use the stereotype phrases, "He drinks like a sailor" or "He swears like a sailor."

Somehow I made it thru my career (including Chiefs' initiation) without profanity. Same for Hubby, who retired his active duty Navy career of 23 years without profanity. No swearing or off-color jokes necessary to succeed in our careers. :)

They call it the narrative

Protesters all over the place. Angry people calling candidates, especially Republican candidates, especially Donald Trump, racists, bigots, hate-mongers, Nazis. It’s becoming commonplace. Billionaire communist George Soros’s group Moveon.org has admitted it it is funding the protests and will continue to do so. Black Lives Matter, another radical organization bent on overthrowing the US government, is also a participant. In fact, before the election is over, most any and all anarchist, fascist, socialist, and communist organizations are likely to be involved in tagging conservative Republican candidates with those very terms. It’s the ultimate projection. But the media would call it shaping the narrative.

Projection in psychological terms is defined as the unconscious transfer of one’s own desires or emotions to another person. In the case of politics, it truly is judging others from the content of one’s own heart. This is a strategy that has been employed in politics over the ages. As politics has become less and less publicly civil, the haters have come out of the woodwork, accusing everyone else of their very own character. They believe, and it has been proven so in many instances, that if they tell a lie about someone enough times people will begin believing it. Vladimir Lenin said, “A lie told often enough becomes the truth.” Hitler’s Joseph Goebbels perfected it. A little bit of truth makes even a better lie.

By the election, the anarchists, communists, socialist, progressives, fascists and others working in league with their comrades in the Democratic party will have accused their political adversaries of every sin in the book, hoping that some of the accusations stick. They intend to make it a fact that their political foes are the worst men and women on the planet. How many will believe it? They hope enough will believe it to sway the election into the very hands of the accusers. Remember, Communist Party USA has endorsed the past several Democratic presidential candidates, and has written very good things about both the Democratic candidates running for president.

Jesus gave us a pretty good counter-narrative in the Sermon on the Mount. In Matthew 7:15-20, He said, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” He also said in Matthew 24:4, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” So when you hear the “narrative,” discern wisely.
