Are you aware of a semi-auto handgun that does not lock the slide back on the last round, assuming it is not operator error?

Freakin NCIS New Orleans! Bad girl guest star has Good guy guest star covered with a semi-auto, but quite obviously does not have finger on trigger. Gg knocks weapon away from covering him, weapon fires (with no finger anywhere near trigger, gun clearly shown not cocked), Gg gets control from Bg. Dialog happens and to emphasize the emotion of the moment and his willingness to shoot, Gg COCKS the gun. The same semi-auto that FIRED, not moments before.
In one of the last programs of "Person of Interest," Jim Caviezel was firing a semi-automatic pistol. The camera was on his left side, giving a clear picture of his pistol which, when fired, failed to show the slide or hammer move yet he "fired" several times. At least his finger was shown pulling the trigger. Obvious mistake which should have been noticed before airing the program
By whom, people that are scared senseless of guns, the same mind set that equates semi-auto with full auto, or that 30 round "clips" are not a real problem because one you "use them up", there will be no more 30 round clips.
OBTW, "Person of Interest" has demonstrated some of the worst "gun ignorance" I have seen, such as a semi-auto not locking the slide back when empty, and going "click" with every trigger pull.
Where can I find episodes of Big Bang Theory without the 'canned laughter? One of my favorite episodes of Big Bang Theory, Leonard and Penny are at a shooting range. They rent a 5904, bring it to their lane, Penny racks the slide and then inserts a magazine. Leonard picks up the gun which is clearly decocked with the safety on and proceeds to blow a hole in his Reboks.
Fun times.
