Insulting? Probably. Unkind? Well, sometimes the kindest thing you can do for a person is tell them the truth. The book of Proverbs has much to say on the subject of fools. So whether or not it is unkind depends entirely on whether or not the person being called a fool is in fact foolish.

Well when you die that is the END. This is reality. Jesus was a Jew he was also middle eastern NOT WHITE! JFK was shot by lee Oswald while this is chatted about I own a Carcano 91/38 rifle and with a Hollywood 4x ( same he used ) and can easily hit a watermelon moving at 100 yards three times in 10.3 seconds. My time is fasted then Ostwald and further by about 100 feet and I was able to get all three on target. I have done this many times and am down to around 9 seconds now. Why is this so hard for people to believe? A less then 100 yard shot on a slow moving target by a trained Marine shooter? To any shooter worth there salt this is a cake walk. Once again REALITY I can prove it is real to 1 or 10,000 people watching live. Please tell me of one provable ( meaning repeatable) instance of a soul?
When we die, that is the end of material human life. It's also the beginning of spiritual life. Can I prove this? No I can't. That's why it's called faith.

That's the answer I would expect from a human material mind set. For those that insist there's no more to life than what you can see, feel and/or hear, your comment makes sense. The way I see it, what have I to loose? If you are correct I will never know. If I'm correct there's a whole new way of life waiting that no human can realize. I'm willing to put my faith in God's word.

I walk in the shoe dept. but I do not buy unless it fits. No use discussing an issue with some one who has a separate view of the subject. It may be akin to me talking to a ChiCom about my life in the desert with my dog, horse and '94. He would have no feeling or point to guage this on. And. If he talks about his 18 hrs on shift making .01$ putting out crap for Walmart and how he feels I have no point - nor would I care.

The problem I have with a lot of theses scenarios that have the attack of Russia and Iran arising out of Israel attacking Iran’s nuclear program is that in Ezekiel 38 10 & 11 it’s made very clear that Israel is completely unprepared for the attack and that God steps in before Israel can lift a hand to help themselves.
That doesn’t jibe with the idea that Israel starts the war to me.
I believe that this is going to happen so fast that the rest of the world isn’t going to have time to do anything about it and that it’s going to be crystal clear that it was only Divine intervention that saved Israel.

Another thing that I've wondered about was the absence of the America in scripture pertaining to the last days. This leave me to consider the possibility than the USA has been destroyed or otherwise made irrelevant before the second coming of Christ.

Spending your life praying to a guy wearing a bedsheet and a white beard who wants you to believe the earth was made in 7 days and man was made form dirt and women where made from his rib but because he was afraid they would eat form the tree of knowledge he kicked them out and made them mortal then after some time he decide the things he made where bad he told a old guy with a beard to build a boat to hold his family and two of every creature on earth then he flooded the earth killing all the bad people and his son of a virgin birth was killed on a cross but came back to life only to disappear seems like the real waste.

The Iran nuclear program has no connection to Ezekiel 38-39. Iran's nuclear program will be neutralized by Israel's Defense Forces as part of the war of Psalm 83/Isaiah 17. The stage for the war of Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 is already set and will most likely happen before the end of 2012. It's Israel's victory here that invokes the anger of the remaining Arab nations backed by Russia to invade Israel as indicated in Ezekiel 38-39 where God Himself takes care of all business.

I understand the words and what the bible SAYS what YOU or others read into it I do not. Please feel free to point out what part of my summery is NOT in the bible that is what is in the book though I did take the artistic leeway with what god himself looks like. As for NY gun laws I know that if I moved to NYC with the firearms I own I would be a CRIMNAL! I also know that if you moved here with all that you own you would NOT be. I need no card to buy ammo. I can carry any firearm I want to in public loaded. I can buy any firearm I want ( except for NFA ) and take it home with me. Can you? That is all the laws I need to know. Here I have those freedoms all you in NYC do NOT.

Yes, I can legally purchase and carry my firearms wherever I go in NY, other than private property if the owner prohibits it (same in every state). And no, you cannot find a safe direction to fire or point a gun in NYC. Every firearm protection class teaches you may not take the shot, even if your life is in danger, unless you have a clear background. You may not take the shot if doing so endangers others. This is the position of the NRA as well and is required teaching for all certified instructors. Yes, criminals will always carry a gun on crowded city streets. But there is no safe direction for your response. Consider sitting in a baseball stadium surrounded by many thousands of people. You cannot take the shot. And the stadium won't let you carry for that reason. NYC streets are like that stadium, only instead of thousands of people there are millions walking the streets. What flies in rural areas does not work in highly populated urban areas like NYC. Further, should you take the shot in legitimate self-defense and injure or kill an innocent bystander, even in Maine, you can expect financial ruin and charges of negligence or worse.
In maine as in NY a permit to carry concealed is required. The criteria for obtaining the permit is exactly the same (standard of moral character). Your Maine permit requires renewal while a NY permit is valid for life. Maine permits are revoked if you refuse a chemical test by police. NY has no such law. You may not carry a concealed weapon in an establishment serving alcohol. In NY we regularly sit at the bar, have a beer, some wings and watch the game while carrying. It is not illegal to posses a concealed weapon in a bar in NY. There is no open carry but who cares. I'm not interested in walking around with a gun on my hip. It's not quite as bad as you think. But people say it's bad so it must be right?

That's kinda the way I see things shaping up as well Ringo.
On one hand I'm really exciting that our Lord may be coming soon. On the other hand, I feel the need to really pray for the grace of God; and ask him to stay his hand a little longer so more people can be reach for Christ.
For the sake of those still lost, I hope your assessment is wrong and God will allow a change to happen soon. There are people that I really care about that are still lost. (Some of them here on this forum.)
I truly hope they will take time to pay attention and at least open their minds eye to the possibility they could be wrong; and the Bible could be right.
