Gay Military?

If there was ever any doubt about why Obama has stripped the military of it's combat effective leaders, this should be a good example of why and what he wants to replace them with. To have a general officer openly gay and to shamefully MC the Pentagon's 4th Gay Pride Celebration is simply unheard of and shows how badly the military is deteriorating. We are making Sodom and Gomorrah look mild by comparison and inviting God's judgment on us. Apparently, we no longer have any leadership in our government or military so we can't complain when everything falls down over our ears. The Lord is long-suffering and loving but it seems we are pushing even Him to His limits.

Sad. I have a grandkid going into the USMC. First one in the Corps, we have all tried to talk him out of it but he is like the rest of the family, wants to serve. Wow. Prayers sisters and brothers for us as a nation.

My step grandfather served in the Army during WWII.

Three Uncles served during Korea.

My Dad served in the Navy during the 50's

Several cousins served during 'Nam.

One cousin served during the late 70's.

I served during the 80's.

I have nieces and nephews that have served from the mid 90's to the present time.

Everyone had one thing in common:

We ALL served with gays.

Being a macho, gung ho, tuff guy I was shocked at the number of gays in the military. Especially while I was in the Navy.

It seemed like 80% of the "Lifers" we're all gay or at the best bisexual.

I was also shocked at how open most of the gays were about their sexual orientation and/or preference.

Trying to blame Obama. For there being gays in the military is like trying to blame Obama for the Sun raising in the East and setting in the West.

Yes, we all served with some but not by choice. When they were found out, most were put out of the service. You question the true reason why some are homophobic. You know the answer to that but deny it. The Bible is very specific about that. If you want to argue with God, have at it, but I don't think you will make much headway. We have been down that road before also. The examples of hypocrites you cited is only indicative that all are not what they profess to be. Don't use such a wide brush to paint all of being like that.

First, how would being gay effect their performance? They can still shoot, fight, drive a tank, or perform any of the more technical/skilled jobs in the military.

God doesn't give a sh!t, and you can take that one of two ways. He exists only in the minds of man, thus of course he/she/it hates everything that man does. Poor stupid man loves a scape goat to take the blame, thus the "I hate fags because god tells me to" cowardly cop out.

Or, god made them that way, and every-time you diss his work, you are pissing him off.

Yep, America has taken a nosedive in so many ways since the usurping Occupant was sworn into office. Once upon a time we were the shining city on a hill, the country nearly everyone on earth aspired to emulate and immigrate to but now, we’re little more than an international punch-line; fodder for the godless nations to mock and hold in derision. The demoralization is complete. Our own government has sold this country out and is nearly finished defeating it from within. Stick a fork in America, folks. She’s done. When people criticize and say gun owners are nothing but hate-filled bigots and closet racists, these "Christian" postings shown here are what they mean.

Why do they not champion the concept of slavery (any more) when it is also clearly in Leviticus, Chapters 44 - 46?
