Firearms Ownership and right to Carry Concealed

convos,
Here in Louisiana you must check semi revolver or both. I was told to just check both. Louisiana does not tie your CCP to a single gun. You can carry any gun that is legal.

well as far as i know here in PA your handguns are not tied to you ccp so all is good here

Correction, PA does not have a conceal carry permit (CCP), it has a License to Carry Firearms (LTCF). The LTCF acts similarly to a driver's license: you may drive most vehicles regardless of ownership; you may carry most firearms regardless of ownership.

I have replied with my thoughts but would add that in SC you are NOT required to field test for your CCWP with the firearm you intend to CC; I find that to be a bit lax in the testing ( you should at least show a proficiency with something other than a 22) but once you walk away from your test and, perhaps, purchase a new firearm, the need to obtain a new CCWP is crazy. I would think that at least in SC that certainly means that the firearm and the CCWP are NOT tied to each other. Just think about the craziness of linking a specific firearm with a specific CCWP. Some of you have 4,5, 10 firearms? You need 4,5, 10 CCWPs? Makes no sense.

Here in Maryland your firearm is not tied to your permit (CCP), as a matter of fact, my friend and I applied the same time and he had not yet found one he preferred. But interestingly enough on my final interview with the Maryland State Police (MSP) they caught me by surprise and asked what firearm I intended to conceal. Politicians have been overstepping their boundaries for years. Now in the “Free State” it is very difficult to secure a CCP because of their “Good and Substantial Clause” but not impossible. We are in the middle of a fight to gain back our 2A freedom.

Texas you does not register individual guns, you can carry as many as you can carry, however your wife if by her self can only carry concealed in the car, in her purse by herself she must have a license, license is only issued as revolver allowing only revolver or SA, semi-auto allowing you to carry either.

same thing

it is the same thing as a ccp just called something different ltcf but it is what you need to conceal so same thing

Can more then one person carry concealed a registered firearm that was purchased by let's say a Husband can carry a Wife's Firearm and vice versa or only the purchaser can carry concealed that specific firearm.

Depends what state you are in. In NY it would work only if you both have the gun registered to you. If only one has it registered, only that person can carry it.
I see you are in FL. In FL you can carry any gun concealed if you have FL ccw.
