I see nothing wrong with this law...good on paper...but is it going to be enforced?

So, if an ilegal is found carrying an ilegal gun... Are we going to put him in jail or deport him??
that is not covered by the law?

I bet we put him in jail for a few years and then deport him/her...still going to drain resources to process him/her...Crap can't win one.

what they need to do is tell them all to get amnesty, come to the sherrif's office to apply for a DL and CWP, then arrest them and ship em out...done and done.

It is illegal for them to drive here without insurance but I have seen them turned loose and let go after being stopped by the police in New Mexico. After all, in New Mexico, I was forced by my bank to carry extra insurance (that I had to pay for) to cover me under uninsured motorist. I t was mandatory because all the illegals that I dealt with did not have insurance. They would get it for the plates and cancel it.

down here, if you let your insurance lapse or cancel and the plates havent been turned in by a certain period of time, they will come after you.

A few years back my sister-in-law had just bought a brand new car( a big deal for her) she hadn't had it 2 weeks when a mexican male hit her. It almost killed her, hospital stay and replacing her car. The accident was ruled his fault and you might think that would make him responsible for all the damages right? Wrong she went back and fourth with this knucklehead trying to get insurance or some kind of restitution. He had no insurance, DL was expired and she finally got together and was going to take him to court. On the day of court she showed up and he didn't, judge issued a warrant for his arrest but his court appointed lawyer said he had gone back to mexico.
So she had to get her insurance to buy her another car and pay for most of the doctor bill ect. She was left with the rest, I don't see it fair he could just jump back across the border and be free of his actions.
