Challenge

The original challenge still stands...

Shoot a sub moa group, post a target and join the sub moa club in social groups. We need more riflemen you'll be a better shot, a better hunter and a better man (or woman) for it.

How about handgunners?

While I just discovered this thread I shot this group 3 weeks ago with my 10" T/C Contender in 22 Hornet while doing load developement. Needless to say the load in the lower left got written in my load book in ink

Off the bags at 100yds.

Boomer, I didn't see any specification in the challenge that would limit the group to rifles. Your group is sub-MOA, so I think you belong. The other groups aren't bad either.

Thanks, the above groups were 3 different loadings for Midway's new Dogtown bullets. I bought the box quite awhile ago & just got around to trying them. The bottom left group was shot with a minimum loading of H335 (a major plus because Hornets suffer from short case life).

My Contender is .45C with iron sights, but has the 14" barrel. If I can find something better than cowboy loads, I'll have to see what it does at 100 yards.

Great shooting Boomer. Festus set the rules (I believe) but from I can see you should be able to join the group. The only rule I could see was:

"you must have shot with any firearm and post an acceptible target group of 1.00 inches or less for a three shot group at a distance of at least 100 yds."

Boomer...you da man

That is great shooting please join...You will be the silhouette specialist of us all and I could learn a thing or to from you!

Here is a 3 shot group I shot before I left on vacation. I had just got the scope back on and wanted to rezero it before I left. It shot a little to the left but after that group I adjusted it one inch right and was good to go. It was out of my Savage 10fp .308 at 100 yards and measured .386" center to center
