Bought my first holster

Well after lots of research online (mostly this forum, plus Google and the respective companies websites), I purchased my first holster for my SR9c (first handgun, purchased ~3 months ago). Crossbreed Supertuck was my choice. I looked at Whitehat, N82tactical and Kholster. I've been drawn to Crossbreed for a while, so not surprised it was my choice. I just love the look and the reputation is fantastic. My mom always said "Buy the best you can afford." Well, after hearing about the drawer full of holsters, I figured I'd get the best (IMO) that I could afford.

Can't wait to get it!

I have 3. You won't be sorry. It might take a week to break it in. It may squeak when you first get it, but give it time.
All of mine were very tight when I first got them. Don't forget to get a really good belt.
Good luck!

I'm ordering the supertuck as well and am really looking forward to it. Have heard nothing but good things.

Not to throw cold water on the party but you'll either love it or hate it, only time will tell.

As to the good belt comment, I bought one of the crossbreed belts and it has held up fantastically.
Been wearing it with my various supertucks for over a year now. It has a nylon reinforcing strip sandwiched between two layers of heavy leather. Top quality craftsmanship. An it looks decent enough for my daily suit wearing.

Thanks Ben! I plan on buying one once I've saved up for it.

Also an update: I placed my order on the third, and just received notification that it has shipped today (14th). Eleven total days - not bad at all IMO.

I have been looking in to trying one. Here's a question for you guys....Are any of you thin built like me? I am 5'7" and 150 lbs. How does the holster feel while moving to and from a sitting position? Does it hinder your movements at all? I am concerned about flexibility due to the length of the holster.

crw i'm about the same physical size and weight a little taller a little less but i've tried that holster and it's very comfortable to me i'm going to get my own very soon i also have a good belt and the whole rig is comfortable and it didn't take long to get used to at all being i never even carried before this last past month i can sit stand squat run i didn't try it in my vehicle yet for sitting but i can sit at my computer chair and not even feel it on me ........if you know someone who has one let them let you borrow it a while is what i did and i like it for many reasons
best wishes i would highly recommend the crossbreed horse hide or one similar at least

Update: Don't have ccw yet, but I work from home. Wearing it for 6+ hours up and down from the couch (yeah, I work from my couch) it's pretty dang comfortable. This is my first holster ever, definitely happy with it.

i'll probably be buying my first holster in the beginning of august looking also in to crossbreed or armadillo iwb supertuck horsehide either way it will work well for me and i will also buy a good belt figure it will cost about 150 usd for a rig like that
i also want to get a good tactical knife and some of those are very expensive as well
had a yard sale today only made twenty dollars......i wondered why no one was coming only to find later someone stole the yard sale signs!!!!!!!!!!!!! dayum that pissed me off as it was alot of work putting all the stuff out and all........geesh unbelievable to find the signs were stolen .......first time that's ever happened my neighbor let me know she didnt see the signs and sure nuff they was gone ........@#$%^&!

I have been using the crossbreed for 8 months now for my sr40c and love it. A month ago I bought the n8 tactical after seeing all the reviews on youtube and trying my friends one on. I must say it is even more comfortable than the crossbreed for me.

I live in fl,carry a glock 26.holster has to be iwb.i bought a n82 holster.no part of the gun touches you. snap in gun retainer.soft luxury.carry in any position.life time gaurentee.made in usa 65 bucks off the shelf so u can try it with your firearm before u buy. i recommend it,but try it on yourself before u buy it,think you will like it.i do not know if you can try any of the other holsters mentioned.

If you want to save a little money, try crossbreed seconds. I was able to get a supertuck for$43 with shipping. Condition was listed as good, but other than some very slight cosmetic markings, it looked new. You have to send cash( I was skeptical at first), but it only took about a week to get it and I really like it.
