Breaking News - Tom Ridge Quits Bloomberg group!

Tom Ridge has resigned from the board of Everytown after learning first-hand what the group hopes to accomplish in the upcoming elections - shooting down Pro-Second candidates and electing pro-GC candidates. He joins a growing list of officials who have jumped ship.

Don't know why this came as a surprise to Ridge. It appears from his statement that he does favor some sort of gun control, but apparently nothing on the order of what Bloomberg is shooting for:

“When I signed on as an advisor to Everytown, I looked forward to a thoughtful and provocative discussion about the toll gun violence takes on Americans,” Ridge told The Daily Caller in a statement, through a spokesman.“After consultation with Everytown, I have decided that I am uncomfortable with their expected electoral work,” Ridge said. “Therefore, we have decided that we will pursue this issue in our separate spheres," http://dailycaller.com/2014/04/25/e...s-new-gun-control-organization/#ixzz306BDME00
