Obama didn't issue an Executive Order, he compiled a bunch of actions for BATFE to add to its already-bloated list of unconstitutional regulations. You and I and just about everyone with two synapsing brain cells to rub together know that unelected bureaucrats aren't constitutionally authorized to make or pass laws, but Congress and the Supreme Court have already either passed laws giving the Executive such power, or ruled it as constitutional based on those laws' passage by Congress. Executive actions go through the unconstitutional regulatory agencies, and thus cannot be just written out of existence by a new president. That is the most significant difference between executive orders and executive actions.
Bofh found what I believe to be the definitive sussing out of Obama's actions on Tuesday. That link goes to a very detailed 46-minute lecture on exactly what happened.
Since then, the same YouTube'er has pared down that 46-minute lecture to a ~23-minute summary of the first release. From the Comments section on both of those videos, it appears that very few other YouTube'ers are getting it right, which likely means that very few bloggers or posters on fora are getting it right either. So when Trump or anyone else says that the first thing they'll do is rescind Tuesday's executive orders on gun control, if you listen to those videos you'll know without a doubt that they are lying.
As to the general new reality for America that no one wants to acknowledge, and/or thinks we can "fix" by voting in a Republican or reasonable facsimile of same, think again. We are a full dictatorship now. Read this from a friend of mine. It will validate the previous statement. In fact, click on the Title Banner at the top of the page and go to the home page to read the last several blog-posts of his, and the only rational, logical conclusions anyone can come to is that America is dead. None of that stuff in the graphic David posted matters a wit anymore. Americans lack the will, the courage, or the fealty to founding principles to proceed in a manner that would have even a scintilla's chance of moving the line backwards towards constitutionally-compliant governance, and it's for damn sure that there's not enough time left for mankind to move it back the couple of century's worth of usurpations it has been operating under up to this point to begin with.
America is under Judgment. No rant about how constitutional (or not) a given action or new law is, is ever going to change that. Part of His Judgment has already destroyed for this country the bedrock underpinning for human freedom which the Constitution represented for a few short years before tyrants started chipping away at it. The country is already gone. Your only hope as individuals is to look to Him. The last vestige of freedom that human beings will ever possess right up to the moment of their passage from this life is to freely invite Jesus into their hearts. Quit fretting over what's happening to this country because strict scrutiny of reality proves it's already gone. Flaming me for telling you the truth will not change that either, but historical reality proves that fact won't stop some from doing it anyway. Have at it. I'm happy, I'm free as a bird, and I'm safe, and none of that is because of the Constitution, my guns or the fact that I've chosen to live far out in the country where my wife and I will avoid much of the coming strife. It's because I'm happy, free and safe in knowing what's in store for us whether or not the strife comes here, whether or not the floods, earthquakes, pestilence and disease comes here, and whether or not small-minded myrmidons of Satan send their taunts my way.
