Talk about paranoind.............I just found out from a redi-mix company I do business with, they knew this because they've been pouriing concrete for blockades, that an old asylum that shut down about 3 years ago has been taken over by DHS!!! new communication towers, cant go back into the old estate now, etc. makes ya wanna go hmmmmmmmmm!!!!!:fie:

The brand is Q-See. But I think there are a bunch of systems made by the same company under different names.
The 1 I got sold out nation wide at Costco in 6 days. Just the cameras are about $125 if you buy them separately.

They just got this system in the 15th and it still shows instock. Cost a little more but the DVR is an upgrade from the one I got. This one comes with 8 cameras and can expand too 16.

I try to buy stuff like this at Costco because of there return policy if it turns out too be junk.
Sams club also has a lot of CCTV at least in this area, but there prices are a lot higher and from what I looked at its the exact same stuff under a different brand name.

I saw the post about the CCTV & thought, “hey that would be perfect”. I try to sell my wife on it & she says it’s a waste of money.

At the end of my driveway I have 3 large trash cans in a stone enclosure. Yesterday I noticed that 2 of them are gone…

I am stunned that some LOWELIFE SOB stole my trash cans! Granted they are the good ones that cost over $100 but please… Who in the world steals a trash can??

In any case it has given me the leverage to put in a CCTV system (maybe the Lord is working in a mysterious way?). I do have a question though, how far can I run the camera wire? Its over 500yds from my house to my front gate.

Search engines today are so easy to use, just type a sentence in one just like you would ask the question if talking instead of typing. You sure can't mess anything up.

I just typed in --> hunting camera <-- in Google and got back 6 million hits. Lots of choices to look at, prices and all. I try to always make Google my first stop on my search for information. Took me a while to figure that out, and to also figure out NOT to complicate the search too much.

Read a few hundred of the reviews people write. Some wouldn't recommend such a thing to even their worst enemy. Others are sold on them.

Same as most anything a person wishes to buy, I suppose.
