Same here my Brother in Nomex,
My dad is getting an XDM and a Crossbreed for Christmas and my mom is going to take training.
Pretty sad that there are sooo many sheep out there!

My buddy open carries his big single action Ruger 44. It's the only handgun he has and he's legal.
One day at our mall a rent a cop waited for us outside radio Shack.
He was very intimidated by my buddies. 44 and you could tell he wished he had a gun too. However we were polite. He told us that there was a no gun sign. I begged to differ because I got here a lot. I'd know. We'll there is no sign. Just a list of policies you don't see inside the door. The last thing in the fine print says no weapons. However the gun stores entrance to the mall where we always enter has nothing...

I think it's just his 44. I spent a morning shopping in the same mall with my wife open carrying my XDM with no issues the summer before.

The poor AR15 is so miss understood!
 
And if you can believe THIS, witnesses say that shoppers in the Sears store were told to go to the second floor and then stay together in a large GROUP at the top of the escalator! What, trying to make sure that he could take out as many as possible in as short a time as possible?

And you're talking about a government that has already come up with at least one plan in the past to carry out attacks on American citizens on American soil as a pretext for attacking something of which they disapproved - Operation Northwood. THAT plan was developed during a democrat administration as well. If our government can develop a plan for American soldiers masquerading as Cubans to attack civilians in order to give them a reason to attack Cuba, then why is it such a stretch to imagine that our government is able - and willing - to turn a few nutjobs loose with semi-auto firearms in order to make it possible to reinstate the AWB and get congressional approval for the UN small arms ban?
 
Man. oh man, here we go again! The TV's covered up this morning with this story. I put some of the blame on the media for creating the so-called "copy cat syndrome" by giving "over-kill coverage" to these sad events. Prayers go out to victims and the injured, but not for the wackadoo who did this.

And not once did you hear that the mall was posted as a no carry zone, did you? Heaven forbid that we tell people how effective THAT policy is!
 
So what happens next?
The lawyers contact the victims family's.
These same lawyers then contact the Mall Owners for recompense with visions of a couple of new Mercedes dancing in their heads.
The Mall Owners then say, Sorry, we had a sign up that said No Firearms Allowed, so go sue someone else.
Now you know the purpose of the Gun Free Zone signs.
Now the fight will be;
Where were the Signs placed?
Does everyone entering the mall see the signs?
What have the Mall Owners done to make sure the illiterate and non English speaking patrons of the mall know what the signs say.
 
criminals and mind controlled bots don't obey 'no guns' signs ......the media is whipping this story up into another frenzy about how bad guns are.......
guns aren't bad ....some people are but that don't mean we should allow the establishment to take guns out of decent citizens hands ........
 
As long as our children are not taught about gun safety at home by loving family but allowed to play zombi and cop killer games under no supervision. As long as young adults keep going to violent blood thirsty movies and sex and violence is glorified while church and family are thought of a unimportant there will be violence such as this. The end of violence needs to start at home. Removing guns knives, or baseball bats will not stop violent crime. Giveing love, supervision, and value of life will!
 
In TN it is illegal to commit a crime in body armor. OR must not have this law because it would have prevented the nut bag from doing so.
 
Last time I checked a gun has no sense of right and wrong, that is up to the person using it. To bad we will more then likely blame the gun again and not put it where it belongs on the individual.

Common sense is not common ya know.
 
I don't think it's 'taking one for the team'. That implies some level of rational thinking, and who would do these things while rational? I suspect however that they might be guys who were in some way controlled or perhaps 'brainwashed' - some drugs most likely. Find some schmoe who's a little emotionally or mentally 'iffy' and it's not too hard to push him over the edge and get him to think it's a good idea to shoot up a crowd to make a point.

So I'd say 'no' to taking one for the team. But I'd say 'very possible' to somehow fulfilling a government agenda item.
 
Did anyone else notice that Shepard Smith told us it was an AR-15, like, a dozen times? Starting the drumbeat to take away our evil assault weapons:sarcastic:

It was not body armor. It was reported as body armor after LEO's found the shooter dead from a self inflicted wound they announced it was just a low bearing vest.

This mall does say "No Weapons Allowed" but as long as you Conceal Carry (CC) then the security officers can't ask you to leave as it's concealed on your person. I've been to this mall several times and have always CC and haven't had a problem. I always CC when I leave my house because I want to protect my friends and family.

Yup... if you don't get caught it is ok right? Does that go for all rules and laws? If you kill someone, and you don't get caught...police can't do anything....So it's ok.

Bad guys read the no gun sign as "easy targets." WE should read the no gun sign as "shop somewhere else."

If malls want to create reactive target ranges, that's on them. When the world goes to ****, at least I didn't go with it.

By all accounts, it was only a tactical vest. Same as the Aurora theater shooter. I can't recall any mass shooting where the perp had any protective vest (there were robberies - different topic.)

Even if the BG did have protective vest, solid chest hits will still hurt him, slow him, make him rethink what he's doing. And there always head and legs.
 
why isn't there talk about eliminating violence on TV. all these crybabies in Hollywood saying that guns kill and need to be outlawed, while making movie after movie about killing. Or outlawing violent video games that glorify killing people. TV, movies, video games, local news all glorify killing.... so pathetic!
