I think we should quell the quashing, but that's just me.

You wouldn't have to grow a thick skin if you considered what you're going to say in more depth. I could give examples, but that would be kind of tacky since the ones I know about are kind of old.

I get being annoyed with arguments that seem to go on endlessly, but rather than seeing it as a necessity to grow a thick skin, I have learned how to use the scroll wheel on my mouse and scroll on by the stuff I have no interest in. I guess it is an acquired skill, but it seems easier than learning how to grow a thicker skin if you came here with a thin skin.
