Disproportionate enough to make me think the poster is a returning troll or trying to emulate Wild Dog
Studies have learned that most CC incidents rarely involve more than 2 shots, so I don't see much of an issues with a single stack weapon.
I look at it this way, the gun that ruled for many years was the old six-shooter. It was cumbersome and held six rounds. Therefore, my two single stack semi-autos are fine. One holds 10+1 and my pocket gun even holds 7+1 which is more than the six shooter. If you live somewhere where you believe any shooting you get into will take more than a few rounds you better move to another location. :dirol:
I'm no hero who stands armed and ready to have a gunfight with a group of bad guys in a movie theatre, church, bank.. The LEOS job is to confront those felons,
I'm an older gent and have learned not to confront a lunatic looking for a fight, and don't believe in the Zombie Apocalypse. If I ever have to draw my weapon, it will be at very close range, certainly less than 21 feet.
I carry a single-stack IWB or a pocket gun, or both on rare occasions. My favorite IWB weapon is my Sig P938 and my favorite pocket gun is my Seecamp .32. Ludwig Wilhelm Seecamp didn't put sights on his beautiful little pistols because, as he said, "Stick it in his face and pull the trigger, don't need sights."
That being said, I just bought a M&P 9C compact 12+1 double-stack, which I might carry when I have to walk around downtown New Orleans.
I guess I need to post more James Yeager videos to educate people.

HA! Yeah, because everybody knows he's the only video gun guy who ever had a good idea.... And quite a few bad ones too. LOL
I do follow multiple YouTube channels, such as Rob Pincus / PDN and Reid Henrichs. James just seems to be on point on a lot of things, so I post a lot of his videos.
- LEOs usually show up after a situation is over. By then, you or someone else may be dead because you didn't wanted to be a hero. Can you live with that? I know I can't.
- If there is no need to engage or if the risks outweigh the benefits, then don't. Sometimes doing nothing is better than doing something. However, this is situation dependent.
- Never confront anyone looking for a fight, ever. By definition, there is no need to engage. If that person becomes an actual threat, then the situation changed.
- Most gunfights happen up close, except when they don't. Counting on your opponent being close is setting yourself up for failure. What are you going to do if an active shooter shows up at a movie theater or church?

Because I carry doesn't mean I have to train for active duty. I did that over 50 years ago. Marines and Special Ops run toward the guns, us guys in our 70's will rather wait for the right moment to put a hole or three in the attacker. While you have your adrenalin all wired looking for a gunfight, I'm calmly determining when and how to kill the bastard.
