Most Cops are Good?

In other words, you are always going to resort to the same meaningless blather when proven wrong.

This coming from a guy, who by his own admissions of total indecisiveness when caught "off guard", coupled with the complete inability to think on his feet when involved in any type of stressful situation, is a danger to himself, and everyone around him every time he straps on a weapon.

Facing a cop in uniform at dinner time in a restaurant is an entirely different scenario than facing a violent criminal attack. You are just too ignorant to see the difference. It's like saying that a person who can't back a tractor trailer combination around a curve to a loading dock doesn't have the ability to swerve and miss an object in the middle of their lane on the road. You tell us most cops are good....so why would you expect me to go into immediate defensive mode when one says they would like to speak to me? A good cop would say, "hey, just so you know some customer called in concerned about your gun, but we don't see anything wrong here. You didn't have any altercations with anyone did you?" Answer, "Nope, just been eating my dinner." Officer, "Ok, sorry to bother you, have a nice evening." And, according to you, that's what I should expect from most officers, right, because according to you most officers are good? You are just being an

or you really are as ignorant as you are trying to appear to be. I made a mistake, I learned from the mistake, I won't make the same mistake again. I am not a stubborn old man like you who thinks they are too old to learn anything new or that the world hasn't changed since they got busted drinking in the park 45 years ago and the sheriff poured their beer on the ground and said, "you run along home now boys and we'll just keep this between you and me, Aunt Bee's got a mighty fine supper cooked up for me and Opie."

Someone, who's anger is outdone only by his aging mind, is a walking liability.

Yeah, the cop isn't going to kill you. Even if you do take 10 minutes to make up your mind.

.

Or........ You shouldn't give a child with Downs Syndrome a chain saw for Christmas. A person who is so rattled by a belligerent cop who never touched him, he can't even think of the proper questions to ask him, after he's been falsely accused for over 10 minutes, is far too indecisive to carry a gun. Just because it's your right to carry, doesn't mean it's wise for everyone to do so. Especially people who by their own admission, have shown such total indecisiveness under the slightest pressure as you. I could care less if you carry or not. But that's only because you're no where around me when you do.

Most people are good. So why do you carry a gun?

Are you trying to act this stupid, or does it just come natural for you? What should be expected, especially from someone who carries a weapon, is to be decisive enough to know what to say when they're being brow beat, and falsely accused for over 10 minutes straight. Not have a reaction time into next week.

.

I made a mistake, I learned from the mistake, I won't make the same mistake again.

I certainly hope so. Because if you're ever faced with a life or death situation, you're not going to get the chance to "learn". I wish you luck.

I didn't write the article. If you think the numbers are false, then rebut them with something more substantial than your bull$h!t.

You VERY OBVIOUSLY DIDNT READ IT EITHER....... Navy QUOTED to YOU some of the stuff FROM YOUR LINKED article that VERY MUCH DISPUTED what YOU THOUGHT AND REPRESENTED IT TO SAY.....

You cannot be this naive?

Actually, he is much worse than just naive.... Naive can be forgiven... billt has REPEATEDLY MISREPRESENTED AND LIED ABOUT MANY PEOPLE AND SUBJECTS on this forum... I wouldnt believe him if he said the sky was blue on a cloudless day...

Hey Deano, Congratulations! You actually found a new name. Instead of using retreads post after post. That brings your grand total of abused citizens up to what.... 3 now?
It's not the murders by cops that are bad, it's the TALKING ABOUT THEM. Check.

Well, if you put your faith in what the "experts" say like billt likes to do, 1/2 of male married police officers abuse their wives.
It was interesting watching Chicago cops talking about the beating of Carolina Obrycka. I wasn't sure who was posting, American police officers or the Afghan Taliban. But then hitting women seems to be the stock in trade for the Chicago PD.

If you spent half as much time on the range as you do in front of a keyboard, you wouldn't be such a danger to everyone around you. But then again, if it takes you 10 minutes to decide if your going to shoot or not, it doesn't make much difference how much you practice, does it?

I find it interesting how you think you are qualified to comment on my firearms training, experience, and skills without having ever met me or seen me shoot. But is quite evident how much you like to post smoke out your backside here.
