I just believe that, as the 2nd amendment states, it should be "well regulated".
No, you believe in a different meaning of "well regulated" than what it means in the 2nd Amendment. You believe in government infringement.
In MA. we have no background checks to buy firearms. You just show your LTC and as fast as you can fill out the FA-10 you're walking out the door with a new firearm.
You are either ignorant or intentionally lying. A background check IS required to buy a firearm in Massachusetts. You provide your LTC as evidence that you have had a background check done on you. Your LTC is your background check approval.
And since you want to go down that road... if I don't have a CPL in Washington, for rifles and shotguns I walk into a gun store, fill out one form, they make one phone call, I get my background check done and approved within 2 minutes, and walk out the door. For a handgun, I fill out two forms, wait for the local police to respond which they must do within 10 days, and go back and pick up my handgun. No references required for either and NO PAYMENT required either for those background checks and no training required that I had to pay for. What did you have to do to get your LTC?
You like to try to tell us how wonderful Massachusetts gun laws are. Well, you have backing for that. The Brady Campaign thinks Massachusetts has pretty good gun laws too:

They think that only CA, CT, NJ, MD, and NY have better gun laws than MA does.
Funny how much you and the Brady Campaign have in common. Maybe you should post on their forums where they will agree with you instead of trying to convert us "anarchists" on this forum.
