God & the Bible, squaring belief with reality

Why are you so angry at people you don't know and a GOD you don't believe in?

It never ceases to amaze me that a person who claims "unbelief" will go out of their way to find threads of discussion concerning Christianity and begin to spew hatred, bitterness and vitriol. I have good news for them though. God loves you! He is REAL! (Definitely more real than the false science they state.)

In truth, the more science discovers the more science points to the existence a God (Our divine Creator). Perhaps, you need to study more & read the book Link Removed to learn what science is actually proving.

Gods world is spiritual not material. Try as we might, relating spiritual life to human material experience isn't possible. Those that don't believe are forever trapped in a material comparison and lack faith. It's interesting that non-believers get so up tight when they can't convince believers to agree with them. What have they to loose. If they are correct when life ends it ends, you cease to exist. If Christians are correct the body dies and the soul lives on forever in Gods Kingdom. We often hear from non-believers if there really is a God he wouldn't let bad things happen to good people. Bad thing happen to good people because of bad people, not God. The bible tells us God has a place in his Kingdom for all his children. We will all pass away from this material life. We will live on for ever in the next life. :pleasantry:

"Many are called". Not that God has restricted His invitation to only this group, but that this group was willing to hear the call of God. Some of them after listening don't respond. But there are a few who respond, and get converted to the Gospel message. These are the ones, who are referred to as: "Few are chosen".

Does God call and choose arbitrarily?-Not at all. His invitation is extended to all creatures. All who listen to His invitation, He calls them; and all who make sure their calling he chooses them for Heaven. That's very fair. All can fit into it if they want to. But the sad part is, ultimately, only a few will be chosen because the majority will be unwilling to sacrifice and fulfill the conditions of salvation, which is indeed little compared to the great sacrifice of Christ!

You need to pick up the phone tom. The very fact that you are here (albeit to ridicule those that believe), tells me God is calling you to make a choice that will affect you for eternity.

I pray that God make the reality of HELL known to you in a powerful way. I ask God to prove Himself to you in a mighty way and bring you to your knees before HIM. I ask the Holy spirit to call out to you and BREAK you under His mighty hand of Grace so you will believe.

I pray Father you reveal your POWER unto Tom and make known the consequences of mocking the name of the Lord. I ask all of this to be done before it's to late; and I ask it be done quickly in the Name of JESUS!

Tom, I sense your life is in danger or will be soon. I'm not sure how this will come about. Perhaps a health issue will arise in your life; or an accident will befall you this year. But, know when it happens, it is the LORD, GOD ringing your phone.
Know that this "event" is set in the Heavens and cannot be stopped. You will only be able to endure the coming tragedy by God's grace & loving mercy.

Tom, the Bible was inspired by God but written by humans so humans could relate to his message. You have a free will given you by God. How you use that free will is up to you and you alone. Jesus used parables, the people of his time understood, to further get Gods message out to those he interacted with. The evidence of God and an after life are overwhelming if you have the faith to believe. The choice is yours, choose wisely.

There is a difference between killing and murder. Self defense, military combat, law enforcement, may be killing, but not murder. It will be forgiven, but not murder.

Even murder is a forgivable sin. The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
 
Sin, spirits, blasphemies, abominations, fear-based commandments of exclusive glorification and adulation...a god that created billions of galaxies with trillions of planets in the blink of an eye 6000 years ago and and presumably oversees them remains obsessesed with what people here do with their reproductive equipment...a god that magically intervenes in the outcome of football games but not genocides, famines, or gradeschool massacres...no wonder so many people are rejecting primitive superstitions at such prodigious rates.

Maybe you should take a course in reading comprehension to "change things". Since 1/3 of the Bible is PROPHECY, and you read it from cover to cover over and over again, it's not only strange that you should ask such a simple question, it's amazing. Pay attention to current events, read the newspaper, watch the nightly news, Yesterdays Prophesies Are Today's Headlines, how simple can it get? :confused:
