As I said, Illinois will NEVER get concealed carry via legislation. Rahm Emmanuel doesn't WANT it. In case nobody's noticed, he's pushing repressive gun controls on the NATIONAL level. What degree of naivete is required to believe that he'd allow concealed carry in Illinois?
The ONLY way that Illinois will EVER get shall issue concealed carry is via Federal court decision. And that is a long shot.
Illinois better start allowing concealed carry. 2012 so far there have been 226 murders in Chicago alone and the year is only half over. So if that many criminals have guns it's about time lawful people had them. If I lived in Chi-town I would carry my Ruger SR9c with two 17 round mags and my pocket .32 for backup. Down with those killers.

- I'm an agnostic. I don't have faith in a supernatural god. I damned well don't have any in the Illinois legislature or the simpletons who elect and reelect the gangsters who serve in it.
- At NO point have I claimed to have ANY belief in the possibility of achieving shall issue CCW in Illinois via legislation. In fact, I've stated that it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE.

I am amazed at how they came back from the beating we gave them. We now buy all of their stuff and they Vacation in Hawaii in Homes that they own there. I guess, anything is possible, if you work hard enough and do not fall victim to being an angry pessimist. We sent a guy over there that taught them how to beat us at our own game. MacArthur requested his assistance in getting the Country functioning again. So one Man, changed the course of an entire Nation and thereby the World. If you do not think we can Change a State Law and thereby a City Ordinance, perhaps you should just stay on the porch and let the Big Dogs Run! What does a guy from Rock River, Ohio. care about Illinois anyway? No Faith in God, Country or Fellow Citizens. No, they DIDN'T. They SURRENDERED. If they'd "over come" two atomic bombs, they'd still be running a slave empire in Korea, Taiwan, and China.

Well, they already have a pretty strong hold on the way people think, that training has been going on for a while. There will always be a need for a government and there will always be a need to control its people, for better or worse. Required training, whether it be military, McDonalds, or driving a vehicle, is a necessity. I think owing a firearm deserves to be backed with knowledge and understanding because it is a thing that can used anytime, anywhere, for any reason to either defend ones self or commit a crime. If we all were as smart as we thought we were we wouldn't have a society and gov't like we do.
Gov't required training is not what bothers me as long as it legitimately tests. But as I am finding out more and more that it's really all a ******** act to run a citizen through hoops just to make it seem like we've earned it.

Sonofcops, I agree, we do need to have a more responsible group of people who carry, than the general public. This will be debated by some, but if you have ever been on the Range with a new gun owner, you know what I mean. We are assuming a big responsibility. The State of Florida says: "Individuals who choose to arm themselves with weapons should, therefore, be armed with the most indispensable weapon of all :knowledge'.
They have a Slave Empire, the people world wide that are in Debt from buying their stuff. Also, they have Factories here in the U.SA, where we work like Slaves to get a Paycheck. Rahm Emmanuel is the type of personality that rules with an iron fist even though he is missing a finger. What Happened almost immediately after he became chief of Staff at the White House? Do you really think that anything that went on in the first two years of the Obama Administration was actually done by Obama? NEGATIVE! Rahm approved every speech on the teleprompter, he coached Obama before every press conference (all 2 of them) nothing happened and I mean nothing happened without his absolute review and approval.
NOW, Rahm gets a visit from the Bloombergs and Anti-Gun Progressives probably sometime between November and January.
In return for some fat and juicy monetary contributions to whatever, what is Rahm and Obama going to do about the armed citizenry.

Holder can not give him up and must take the fall for Rahm. If it is ever traced back to Rahm then the White House is exposed as is the "campaign" contributions from the Brady's and Bloombergs. It would make Watergate look like a flee on a Brahma Bull.
