One more thing for you to all make fun of if you would like... we all keep one blank loaded in the chamber just in case the bg has a change of heart from the fear if being shot. Who knows, that split second could be all he needs to change his life forever.

Blanks? Wow! This is an example of how one gets killed. Blanks have no place in a violent confrontation. The OP says he's carrying anyway in violation of the law. He already broke the law, choosing to ignore Illinois state law. I was giving him the benfit of the doubt but now believe he is trolling. No one can intentionally be this ignorant. All the more reason to believe the right call was made on him.

Most of my life is over.

But I'm still here.

In over 20 years of exercising my constitutional rights I've never been arrested, never shot anyone, nor beenshot. I've been in one altercation where I subdued an attacker with a golf club. I've been chased down with abat in a parking lot for apparently cutting someone off in traffic that I was completely unaware of.

Yet, my weapon has not had to see the light of day.

And I'm still alive.

You're right... my methods are worthless. I should be killed just for opening my mouth and spouting such nonsense.

Imagine how ridiculous it would be if, in order to reproduce we had to listen to "experts" who have never had sex themselves, but know all the "theories" about what to do "if" it happens.

We, as a race, would be gone in one generation.

At least I'm getting some comic relief reading these expert opinions.
