Women's Combat Infantryman Experiment Fails...Miserably.

They tried this back in the 70's. the 3dID in Germany had a company of women go to the field during one of the FTXs. Didn't last a week. It was a disaster and the experiment was cancelled.

After reading this thread again, I'm even more so convinced that the vast number of members of this forum are +40yo SWMs that do NOT have children ( thank God!) still live with their Mom and have a "Command Post" in the basement.

I did get a kick out of one of the post that said women can NOT carry as much gear as men.

Really?

Now, just out of idle curiosity.........

Did he mean a real man or was he referring to himself and the other limp-wrist, panty-waisted "men" that still live with their Moms?
