I used to shoot a S&W .460 with hot handloads at an indoor range (H&H in Oklahoma City - I loved that place). It would rattle the viewing window and usually bring the whole place to a stop with lots of "What the hell was that?!?" Best thing was the scorch marks on the booth partitions it would leave :->. My 4' 2" tall ex wife loved to shoot it too and it would be funny to see her explaining to some 6' guy next to her, "It's a S&W .460, want to try it?" and the answer from the biggest of guys was usually, "HELL NO!"
