Why I don't Trifle W/ Other Drivers or What Are These People Thinking?

Truly sorry for your loss BC1, I can't even imagine you pain.

I do not pay much attention to the road jerks. I speed up, slow down, and if they persist I go another way. A mile down the road they are usually someone else's problem. I used to get upset when someone did something stupid. I finally figured that getting upset had no upside for me. I've had people mess with me for no discernible reason. We've all seen someone doing really stupid stuff. Unfortunately I've had people upset with me for good reason. I know that most of you think of me as perfect but I wasn't always that way :):) If I can mess up then I see little reason to get overly upset when others do. Avoidance of bad things on or off the road is SOP.

I've heard it said that "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from poor judgement." So, after all my experience I don't sweat the small stuff.

Those are the deals that test you, if you make the mistake of even allowing them to see you are armed, then they can tell the cops you drew the firearm and pointed it at them.
trust me like the guy who told the cop I drew my handgun and pointed it at him and threatened to kill him.

with no other witness.s the worthless cop just accepted his word because I did have a handgun arrested me and then our worthless District Attorney charged me with a felony pointing a weapon.
Around a year later after a full jury trial I was found not guilty.
Attorney cost me around $1,800 and I was forced to visit our Court House each Month as the courts process slowly moved forward.
So as I say things happening like what happen to the OP test your will to hold off doing anything that would cause you the same problem I had to deal with.
Trust me the cops want to make the arrest the District Attorneys want to make a charge against you, and they surely will do it.

Let's see. In both instances you were driving in the left lane, it appears.

What ever happened to "Stay right expect to pass?"

What is this penchant for everyone to think they should all be in the left lane(s) regardless of traffic or speed?

If every one drives in the right lane, it cuts the road's carrying capacity in half and most urban highways are very crowded anyway. We have no laws here regarding which lane you have to drive in. We do have a very useful guideline...SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT.
