Why carry open in town?

I Will have to ask, where is this "private property rights" ,you speak of ?

Just to remind you guys there is no property rights in the US. It is laws that dictate what is done on property. There is even less on a business property
+1 on what Blues posted, but don't forget the 9th Amendment. Give it a read, it says that we are free men and the gub'ment doesn't get to define our rights in a finite list.

Good post BLUE you have almost found the flaws. But you forgot Somme of the main points. As you pointed out the courts have ruled on personal " property". That is not real estate
Have you not heard of immanent domain, through due process, determand by government. The gov. Can take anything they want for any reason
Have you seen any of the things the IRS can do. Sorry, can't remember the act, but they can take any amount of money from you,at a traffic stop

As far as different kinds of property. There is residential, uninvited public, open public, and private business. There are all kinds of laws which dictate what can be done on said property. All have to have license. Let's deal with open to public.by the act of law, there are several groups, you can not discriminate against. Right now, by law, you can discriminate against civil 2ndA rights
BTW, I forgot, if you don't pay your property tax. You forfeit you property
